Mt. Chokai (2,236m) is a famous mountain for its alpine flower plants, and one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan. You can see remaining snow which is similar 花 in shpe.（花＝Hana means flower in English)

On this day at the park, so many trees were overflowing with flowers. A beautiful sight to see. :-) I took 2 cameras with me so I didn't have to change lenses outside. Used the macro lens for this shot to get up close and had a longer reaching lens too. Seems I never finished going thru all the pics either! Gotta make time for that. Anyhoo.. hope you enjoy.
Among the evergreen garden shrubs, the Mahonia is, undoubtedly, one of the most unusual and least known. The season in which flowers appear is, generally, winter, although it depends on the region where the plant is located. The flowering persists also until the spring, or else, blooms in autumn and lasts all winter. After flowering, clusters of small blue berries appear on the plant.
