This flowering weeping tree has captivated me my entire adult life. It's one of those trees that look even more beautiful during the winter months, when the awesome, twisting, cascading branches are exposed and we see parts of the tree that are usually covered by leaves.

Happy Friday everyone! Have a wonderful day!

"If you look closely at a tree you'll notice it's knots and dead branches, just like our bodies. What we learn is that beauty and imperfection go together wonderfully." - Matthew Fox

This morning I saw Sue's photo of the new leaves on her plant and when I went to look for new leaves on my plant I found it was flowering. I've never seen these flowers before.

Spotted this image whilst sitting in our rear garden, moss can now be seen on most of the stones that surround the informal koi pond.

It was good to spend some time in the garden today. The sun was shining and birds were singing, a welcome diversion from the barrage of sad and worrying news.

Many thanks for the kind comments and faves on my images and stay well everyone.

Boutons d'or en fleurs

IN EXPLORE TAKEOVER - April 27, 2022

There are magical places. During a walk, my wife and I discovered this field of blooming buttercups. This colorful sight remains memorable and contrasts with the sky of that day.
