Orange flowering succulent

this tree sits proudly on our front lawn... it was here when we bought the house in 1988 and quite large... so now it has be over 45 years old and still gifts us with a beautiful display of pinks!!

A leftover from a walk this past summer. I usually overlook a plant like this, but up close it seems so interesting-especially in this stage with the fruit and petals both visible. (I guess it can be nasty though if ingested and harmful if the sap gets on your skin!)

A tiny drop of sup is visible around one of the stems.

We came across this lovely tree several times during our travels in Singapore. The bright colour and interesting shape of the flowers attracted my attention each time.
