There's an incredible amount of industrial activity adjacent to the Port of Richmond. Amazingly, there's a large development of lovely new homes just a couple of hundred yards from these sites.

Gomberg Kites make this big, 60 square foot, parafoil kite based on the Flowform design. I fly it with a matching 50ft streamer tail. Bubble Mickey is a large piece of "line laundry" which hangs from the kite line and revolves in the breeze
The original 16 square foot biohazard flowform was a commission from my friend Tim Wolfe. It was white with a rainbow "stained glass" graphic -- each section outlined in a thin border of black. The kite won the amateur soft kite category at the Smithsonian kite festival and was flown at East Coast events for a year or two before it was lost into the Chesapeake Bay when a big storm came up during a club fly at Sandy Point State Park.
Mark II was a replacement for Tim. I didn't want to build a duplicate of the original kite, so I came up with this fiery variant. Originally the kite was solid black except for the graphic, but I wasn't happy with the way it read in the sky, so I replaced the lid of the 'foil with white so the graphic could be back-lit. The spare fabric from the graphic was used to make the matching transition tails.

Nimble, power, and refinement.
When one thinks of the Audi RS3, these words are likely to come in mind.
We figure styling should also be up on that list too, unfortunately, the factory wheels leaves much to be desired for the 400HP rocket. Thankfully, our V801’s are here to save the day.
A full face mesh design with a modern twist, the V801’s thinly milled spokes and diamond windows creates a delicate and sophisticated look that’s brimming with detail. Finished in Hyper Silver, the V801’s not only compliment the color of the RS3’s ground effects kit, but its angular lines as well.
But, don’t be fooled by the svelte appearance of the V801’s either; thanks to its flow form construction, the V801’s remain lightweight, yet incredibly strong. Engineered and tested to exceed VIA, JWL, and TUV standards, our V801’s are more than capable of handling whatever abuse the RS3 will put them through.

Home made rig with 3 servo's connected to an Arduino Nano.
The third servo, next to the pan and tilt servo, is for firing the LX3 and LX5.
The Arduino is scripted to pan 360 degrees in 8 positions.
Firing 5 pictures in every position.
And to do that again in 4 different tilt positions.
Works like a charm. :)
