20+ knot winds made KAP difficult at best, but the wind across Kua Bay was steady enough to fly a Flowform 8 and lift my BBKK rig. At times, though, the rig was at risk of catching surf spray.
Number two in a series of wave abstracts.
I couldn't get a lot of height because of the high wind speed and the low line angle on my only high wind kite, my Flowform 8. So I spent time playing with the waves.
Equipment Used:
Kite - Flowform 8 + 15' Fuzzy Tail
Line - #200 Dacron
Rig - R/C BBKK
Camera - Canon A650IS
Cuando tenia mi FF30 en lo más alto el viento aumentó en las alturas de tal forma que necesité ayuda para bajarlo ( mi mujer ) y aun así fue un auténtico calvario :-( , pero valió la pena :-) .

The Flowform 16 only needed a gentle breeze to lift my NEX 5n and Rokinon fisheye lens for this sunset snap at Woodman Point. The camera was set for an aperture of f4, an ISO at 200 and the exposure came out at 1/80th of a second.
These beach umbrellas are outside 'Il Faro', a beachside seafood restaurant at Pedaso in the Marche, Italy. We had lunch there and I took the opportunity to have a brief AutoKAP session with my camremote rig. lofted by my Flowform 16. This was my first KAP session in Italy and only the second session this year.

When the Planet Solar arrived in Tahiti I did a few KAP images of the ship in Papeete's harbour, and all went smooth and fast. The next morning one of my KAP shots was on the front page of the local daily newspaper: La Dépêche de Tahiti, I met with the crew and the inventor of this unique solar boat cruising around the world with just the energy of the sun and was offered to embark from Tahiti to Bora Bora for a "KAP trip" : 36 hours, 3000 shots, 25 Gb of HD space, 4 kites (PFK nighthawk, PFK super delta, dan Leigh Delta R8 and Flow Form 16), 5 rigs, 5 cameras ( Sony Nex 5, Sigma DP1, Ricoh GX 100, GoProHD, Leica M9) 8 KAP sessions from sunrise to sunset ... A great crossing with a Fantastic crew on an exceptional boat...KAP at its best under the sun with a great subject.
