Maiden voyage of HQ Flowform with über fresh rig for IXUS 310 HS with CHDK. And doing just great. :)
I know what some people say when they compare the HQ to the Sutton but this one just rocked this afternoon.
What a beautiful, stable and lovely kite.
And pretty big. :)
A second visit to Aldeburgh yielded more photos (taken with my R/C pendulum rig lofted by my FlowForm 16)
Delta-Flowform combo rules also in sailing. Flowform pulls forward while Delta keeps it up. Also Flowform is relatively easy to launch when Delta is already up.
Peculiar sensation when there is no ground wind and the kayak is still doing 4 knots.
Here I'm launching my FF30 in a very light wind (only one glove because I didn't intend to let the kite get really airborne).
Just before this video was taken I shot a large number of KAP photos. The session was at the "Horn of Plenty" - a country house hotel close to the Tamar River dividing Devon from Cornwall - where we were having lunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday.

There's an incredible amount of industrial activity adjacent to the Port of Richmond. Amazingly, there's a large development of lovely new homes just a couple of hundred yards from these sites.

Gomberg Kites make this big, 60 square foot, parafoil kite based on the Flowform design. I fly it with a matching 50ft streamer tail. Bubble Mickey is a large piece of "line laundry" which hangs from the kite line and revolves in the breeze
