Winkelmann Flowform Technology, LP. specializes in high-precision, high-strength, thin wall roto-symmetrical parts from metals such as titanium and steel. Through technical engineering and in-house manufacturing processes, the company seeks to provide high-quality, precise, near net shape designs for use in the Aerospace and defense industries. Steve Sutton's wonderful Flowform 30 : On the left flying in 6.5mph wind speed on the right 7.2. I am working towards a set of shots showing optimum drouge arrangements for this kite. It responds well to a drouge but the angle of attack is reduced massively so I'm trying to figure out what the threshold wind-speed is to fly drouged and just how big the drouge should be.

This flowform, which I've had for 6 years, is the kite I've used for 95% or more of my KAP sessions. It may blow out of the tree (it's lodged right at the top) in the right sort of gale, but I've already ordered the fabric to make its replacement!
