Our Daily Challenge ~ Fill the Frame
Yesterday the snow was solid and weighing my Curry plant down, today a thaw has begun.
Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated
Macro Mondays theme: fill the frame with plants.
This is one of the many succulents that have come into my home which I haven't killed yet. It is a tough one, that's for sure.
Thanks for your visit! HMM!
Yarn, cheaper than therapy :).

Macro Mondays - Fill the Frame
Happy Macro Monday everyone.
Hopefully it is obvious this is zoomed in. From corner to corner is about 3cm.
No flower represents the chilly fall season like Mums.
My neighbor has two pots of these beauties.
Fun fact: all Mums (Chrysanthemums) are asters, but not all asters (such as Daisies) are Mums :)
For ODC-More White. I know this is BW, but the high-key process seems to call to the snow and fog.

After the hot summer we had, maybe this is what the doctor ordered :) Actually, I can't even imagine it - this was taken in Alaska, from the railing of the cruise ship looking down into the ocean.
Zoom in and take a look. There are some interesting lines and textures in the ice chunks.
I have two plants that are alive in mid January, I don't really consider trees plants, so didn't count them, but yes they are. However the Cora Bells and the Ivy is doing well in the 7 degree F weather.
For Macro Mondays: “fill the frame” but only with plants. The whole photo must be filled with a sort of plant.
This plant is indoors and I think spring is still quite a ways off.
Every year at Christmas I head over to the bulk food store and stock up on a ridiculous amount of assorted Christmas candy. I am not sure why, other than it is now seems to be tradition. I have a section on my china cabinet of small bowls and candy jars and they are filled with the candies. I have jujubes (pictured here), Christmas coloured M&M's, jellybeans and peppermints, just to name a few...I sometimes have to remind the kids that it is not an all-you-can-eat-buffet...as tempting as it may be. :D I am not being a candy Grinch...really, I am not...I am just trying to make it to Christmas before the jars are completely empty. Calories don't count at Christmas time, right?? Ha, if only... :D
I hope you all had a great day!
What you see is a Five Corn Baking Mixture for Bread. Wheat, Rye, Barley, Oat and Millet. It`s all there but already worn down.
