Mix 2 tablespoons honey with 2 tablespoons apple vinegar until silky, then pour it on the raw zucchini. A carbohydrate is not necessary on a daily basis. If you're battling the bulge, you owe it to yourself to eliminate potatoes, pasta, rice and bread and have one of them perhaps 2 or 3 times per week but not on a daily basis.

for my son and I. He loves filet mignon. I got two 10 oz filets from Central Market. Seared them both sides for 3 minutes in my All-Clad fry pan and finished in hot 450° oven for 8 minutes on a preheated baking sheet. Came out perfectly medium rare. Simple prep on the steak, rubbed in olive oil, salt and freshly ground coarse pepper.
I then used the fry pan to make the sauce to get to the fond. Tonight it was red wine, shallot, rosemary reduced to a syrup, a pinch of sugar, salt and pepper. 2T of unsalted butter blended in off heat to finish it off to velvety smoothness.
The two filets are actually too big for us, we split one. The other one is already split on the resting plate and I'll do another favorite of his tomorrow--white rice with thinly sliced layered on top with the leftover sauce from tonight.
