From De Beukenhof, Oegstgeest: tournedos (filet mignon) with caramelized cloves of garlic, oven-dried tomatoes, sauteed eggplant, Shanghai paksoi and light green pellets of pasta (or gnocci, we weren't sure). Lovely.
Delicious Filet Mignon and HANDS DOWN the best au gratin potatoes I've had in my LIFE at Blue Bayou (inside Pirate's of the Caribbean) in New Orleans Square - seriously, I'd cut a bitch for those taters.
I cooked today. I don't do it often but this week I have a couple of times and I am enjoying it. I didn't get too elaborate. Just whipped out my cast iron and cooked a steak and a couple of eggs.
Amazing how good a steak can taste after sitting in the freezer for over 4 months. Yum :)
