This aircraft was originally delivered to United Airlines as N583UA on 14 JUN 1993 and served the airline for over 18 years before being removed from use and stored at SFO on 13 OCT 2011. Stored at Victorville (VCV) on 16 FEB 2012. Purchased by FedEx on 17 APR 2012. Ferried VCV-ANC-KIX-XSP 04-06 APR 2013 for conversion to freighter. Conversion completed in September 2013.

It also flew for Hawaiian Airlines on a lease from AA. FedEx received the jet in May 2002 and converted it to a MD10 in August 2005. By 2009 the aircraft was removed from service and stored at Victorville, California (VCV).

In Memphis, FedEx MD-10-30F N304FE is a layover aircraft that flew in from San Antonio in the darkest hours of the night. This Long Beach beauty is 43.5 years old.

The sun rises in Memphis as a cleaning crew dry wash a company A300 on the FedEx Ramp.

After landing on Runway 27, N307FE turns off towards the fedEx Memphis ramp with freight from Detroit.
