On a quiet Labor Day, FedEx MD11 N583FE sits on the company ramp at Memphis. This tri-jet was originally delivered to American Airlines as N1752K in 1991.

Former Scandinavian Airlines DC-10-30 seen here at SLC as a recently converted MD-10-30F for FedEx. Overshot the shot runway at JFK in Feb 1984 as SAS LN-RKB. Later repaired and sold to FedEx for cargo. Converted and entered service for FDX in December 1985.

This McDonnell Douglas product was first delivered to American Airlines in April 1992 as N1759. It came to FedEx in June 1998. In 2013 it flew with the "Panda Express" livery for a short time. It was retired in May 2024.

Originally delivered to American Airlines as a DC-10 in February 1979, FedEx MD-10 also flew for Hawaiian Airlines briefly. Here, the McDonnell Douglas tri-jet is seen on the company ramp at Memphis getting de-iced in February 2006. The airframe was retired to Victorville (VCV) in 2009.
On the FedEx Memphis ramp is MD-10 N387FE. The former United Airlines DC-10 (N1822U) is seeing it's last days in service. Eleven days later this tri-jet would be sitting in the boneyard at Victorville, California.

Stored at Victorville (VCV) on 16 FEB 2012. Purchased by FedEx on 17 APR 2012. Ferried VCV-ANC-KIX-XSP 04-06 APR 2013 for conversion to freighter. Conversion completed in September 2013.
