Taxiing from the gate is Southwest Airlines 737 N8934Q. The MAX 8 is leaving Memphis for Baltimore, Maryland (BWI). FedEx 777 N876FD is landing on Runway 36L arriving from Anchorage, Alaska (ANC).
A well traveled Airbus A300, FedEx N749FD, arrives to Memphis International from Nashville. Originally delivered to Garuda Indonesia in September 1992. This Toulouse born jet also flew for Korean Air Lines, Air Afrique, Íslandsflug and Air Atlanta Icelandic.
This trijet was delivered to SAS Scandinavian Airlines in January 1976 as LN-RKB. The McDonnell Douglas aircraft was involved in an incident at JFK on February 29, 1984, (Leap Day) when it overran the runway on landing. The nose of the aircraft found its way into Jamaica Bay. The aircraft was repaired and later purchased by Federal Express in December 1985 where it earned the nickname "The Salty Dog". It completed convertion to an MD10 in August 2002. The jet is seen here on the Memphis International south cargo ramp awaiting its non-rev flight to Victorville, California. N311FE made its last revenue flight for FedEx from Monterrey International Airport Mexico, to Memphis on December 31, 2022.

Federal Express (Fedex) McDonnell Douglas MD-10-30F N321FE is seen touching down on Runway 19R at Milwaukee General Mitchell International Airpot whilst completing FX 2783 from the Fedex Hub at Indianapolis International Airport. N321FE was originally built for Sabena as a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30CF in 1980, making the aircraft over 40 years old at the time of the photograph.

At the time of the crash of UPS Airlines Flight 2976 FedEx Express operated 29 McDonnell Douglas MD-11F. All have been grounded. It is the largest operator of this type in the world.

In the waying moments of sunlight on an October afternoon, FedEx Boeing 767-3S2F(ER) N182FE makes it's way down the glidslope to Runway 10C at Chicago O'Hare whilst completing FedEx 309 from the carrier's worldwide hub at Memphis International.
On July 28, 2006, N391FE flew from SEA to MEM as FedEx FLT 630. Upon landing on Runway 18R the left main landing gear collapse due to a fatigue crack in the Schrader valve mounting hole. The aircraft was a total loss eventually being scrapped in February 2007. There were no injuries or fatalities.
Here cranes are seen the day after the accident attempting to lift the jet to allow for removal from the runway.
