Seen landing on Memphis International Runway 27 in September 2013 is FedEx N938FD. The Boeing 757 was retired to Victorville, California, in January 2025.

Taxiing on November and crossing Runway 9/27, FedEx MD-10 N359FE (ex-United N1842U) heads towards the company ramp in Memphis. The jet was retired in 2020 and stored at VCV in Victorville, California.
In the "darkest hours of the night" FedEx Express 767 N130FE is being loaded on the company ramp at Memphis International. The Boeing wide-body will fly to Manchester, New Hampshire, with its freight.

FedEx Express A300 N668FE has flown to Memphis from Oklahoma City. The Airbus experienced a hydraulic low quantity on decent. This resulted in a manual extention of the landing gear and declaring an emergency. Hence, the AARF crews at the end of Runway 36C.
Leaving Memphis on Taxiway Alpha is DC-10 N68058. This McDonnell Douglas tri-jet was first delivered to Turkish Airlines in December 1972. It came to FedEx in November 1989 and retired to Victorville, California, in January 2009. It was eventually scrapped.
Crossing Runway 27 at Memphis International is FedEx MD10 N358FE. The former United Airlines DC10 N1839U was retired in November 2019.

Delivered new to SAS in 1976 this aircraft has an eventful history: In 1984 the aircraft had an accident at New York JFK - overrun the runway and ended partly in salt-water. The aircraft was recovered and later sold to FedEx - converted to freighter in 1985.
After 45 years of service she still looks pretty good and earns money hauling parcels in North America.

Retired in 1999, the nose is now on display outside the Aviation Institute of Maintenance near Houston Hobby Airport, Texas,

LATAM Cargo 767-316F N536LA briefly flew for FedEx Express from 2014-2018. (One of the few with winglets!) In the distance, FedEx 767-3S2F N166FE (winglet-less) is on final for Runway 12 in Miami. The Colombian wide-body is taxiing to Runway 9 for a departure to Bogota.
