This photo screams fast so that is why I took this photo of my derby engine. I dislike the background in the photo because it distracts from the subject but it hard to move an engine. I like the color of engine which brings focus to the subject.
Being artistic means you can be either very traditional or really out there. Today I'm happy being both. Does that make sense?

The pair of Nuthatches were very busy today collecting food for the youngsters and then cleaning up after them.
This pic shows the arrival of yet more food and both parents were back and to with grubs, caterpillars and gnats etc.

'Nutkin', now almost fully grown, at Forest How, Eskdale. A month ago, he carried a hazelnut up into a tree. For half an hour, on and off, I could hear her trying to open it. No such problems now!
Taken in Africa, these cheetah's were taking an afternoon shower. I was using a wide angle lens here and these cheetah's were only about 5 feet away. I had to out run them for over 100 meters back to the truck to avoid being eaten. Seriously these were really taken in Africa, well the section of the Kansas City Zoo called Africa.
