SEASON of mists and mellow fruitfulness!
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eaves run;
"To Autumn" by John Keats (1795–1821)
夢裏巡迴的小鎮
乾淨地沒有一絲雜音
沒有一名灰塵
沒有燥熱昏沈的太陽
在夢裡 繼續
擦亮那閃亮的日子

finally also the new 56 belongs to me. What a stunning lens. I only had a couple of minutes to take a few shots but definitely it will be become one of my most used Fuji lenses in the future. it is that good and exactly the focal length I really like. Shot with Nostalgic Neg and not much PP
I don't recognize the crew member at the switch but often times the engineer would throw it. The two cars behind the engine were probably bad order.

Although I had been to Dog Slaughter Falls on several occasions and my original plan was to shoot the falls from the other side, which didn't happen because of higher water, then I realized I'd never got up close and personal with the falls. To my delight I found little swirls moving around the rock in the foreground. I was glad that myself and my longtime friend Jason Haley had the opportunity to show our good friends Randy Sanger and Todd Williams this lovely falls.
I have more autumn spots. I'll just pinch into this tight spot along the road/trail to Smith Lake without tipping over. Autumn up here is currently encountering it's year-end struggle around Smith Lake. The scrub oak is giving it up while the aspen is stretching the season. I refused to let this autumn's color sleep under the coat of snow that's supposedly due this week, without another foray into the high country. Phil and I were sniffing the pine and aspen perfume along the trail to Smith Lake up Taylor Road. We traveled the Peak to Peak Highway north toward Allenspark and turned right onto Taylor Mountain Road. Here, east of Allenspark and west of Taylor Road, we found semi-flat rocks for perches by the oft-used fire ring at the pond. Only one car up here and they found us to tailgate on this glorious day. The wagon road through the autumn aspen, over to here is nearly apparent and yet skimpy.
These rocks were scattered along the old route and probably propped up the Smith lake terrain. Great views abound everywhere along the trek. Taylor Road is an access to wonderful treks in the high country to magnificent views of much higher country. We are paralleling the Rocky Mountain National Park off to the west. Atop Taylor, one should be able to spot climbers in colorful jackets on their final leg up the south pitch of Longs Peak. Sometimes climbers founder on the big notch between Meeker and Longs.

NS 15J crosses the South Branch of the Raritan River at Neshanic Station on a beautiful autumn morning. Most leaves have fallen in this area but some color continues to hang on around the bridge. The second unit is a former Conrail SD80MAC, NS 7220 (ex-CR 4108).
