Christmas socks for Mom. The colors are more purple than they look here.
Yarn: 65%/35% Merino wool/Tencel, handdyed by Lucy at Mind's Eye Yarns in Porter Square, Cambridge, MA.
Pattern: Falling Leaves, from the Fall 2005 issue of Knitty.
Needles: Knit Picks 2.5mm double-pointed needles. The weight of the needles didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. The slickness of the needles is excellent.
Modifications: I worked the socks seperate, didn't know if I'd have enough yarn for both, and so only did about 3.5 pattern repeats for the leg. Could have easily done one more each leg.
It's so sad and wrinkly.
