The air is wet, the temperature is cool, the leaves are turning, my favorite weather of the year is here. Bald Eagles are becoming more active and hopefully more will arrive soon as the temperature gets colder.
Students, faculty and staff enjoy themselves at Fall Fest 2015 on Wednesday, Aug. 26 on the E Loft Patio at the Main Campus in Galesburg. The annual back-to-school celebration included a bounce house, jousting, music, caricatures, free lunch and more. Let's do it again soon - we'll see you Oct. 14 for October Bash 2015!
Another shot from an iconic location in Yosemite. Fall colors and stars made for a beautiful capture.
A bird I may actually prefer in fall plumage vs. summer - this fall Tennessee has a really nice yellow and olive colour combination in fall. Also a bird that should probably be re-named as this bird spends little to no time in actual Tennessee but breeds in the boreal forest and winters down south.
Jade at Tank Space, falling in the light beams from above. So difficult to shoot this, but such lovely results when they come out right.

。。。Are we falling together
or falling apart?
I feel like the moon tonight,
floating in space
And you are the sunshine
upon my face
So stare at the moon tonight
and you will see,
see the reflection
of you upon me。。。
Friends always, for every fall, together or apart, you are my support!
Along the Shawangunk Ridge on the Minisink Trail at Huckleberry State Forest on the Basha Kill Area Association hike.
The next entry for The Dictionary Of Image. I'm absolutely addicted to this dictionary group ,-)

A simple photograph of an autumn leaf.
Thank you very much for your visits, faves and kind comments.
Stillness of the lake and the fall colours make this one of my fave shots this fall.
Shot in Nova Scotia between Oxford and Springhill
I liked this triplet of leaves, turning golden in the autumn air, along with the rest of the forest...

After we left the farmers's market we found a pulloff for access to a fishing spot and this was the result. Just the fall shot I was looking for. My entry for a fall calender shot.....you all have them too!
