One thing that is a sure sign of fall for this old farm boy is the big green machines going by! Was stopped taking this picture and heard the combine coming..so took a few as it went by..this one was framed best to me!
Brown fields might be depressing to city-folk..but us who are close to farming see those 'brown' fields as GOLD waiting to be brought in... or PAYDAY!
Harvest time is a wonderful time for farmers..busy, hectic, late nights and lots of dangers.. keep these people that feed us in your prayers for safety!
I love seeds and seed pods, they are part of the beauty of nature. I took these three during a recent hike with my daughter. Really crowded trail because of the fall leaf peak. Yes I took photos of the fall leaves too.
I have to laugh, when I was taking the photos you should have seen the people on the trail staring at me. A few I actually heard say to others in their groups, "what is she doing?"
Perspective. My perspective changes every day, some way or another.
My first day of art school is tomorrow. I can't wait to see how this whole rest of my journey changes my perspective.
Im sure when I look back at my current art when im done with everything im going to see how much my artwork will have changed.

North of Chiloquin, Oregon there are aspen groves that display brilliant color in mid-October. The northbound Coast Starlight is passing them in 2003.

Horsetail fall is a special time in Yosemite every year for few days the Sunset hits the water (if their is anuff weater flowing) to turn the water red or orange
As temperatures are supposed to get down to 15 degrees tonight I sure do miss Fall. Winter is definitely my least favorite season. The bitter cold, the ice, the snow driving all not my favorite.
I took this photo with my 50mm. I wouldn't normally use that for closeup shots but I felt like experimenting. I do love the different perspective this lends and of course that lovely bokeh my 50mm gives :)
On this Fall morning I was flying my DJI Mavic 2 Pro around my farm. Mornings are my favorite time to get out and shoot.
