We had a beautiful Fall day yesterday. Perfect weather for a hike around Bottom Creek Gorge in Montgomery County! This one leaf was on the ground and caught my eye. And I thought it would make a great shot with the way the sun was filtering in through the trees. My husband was a good sport and held it just right for me :)

Week #5 - What does that Tv button on my camera stand for?
Wet, rain, cool, and falling leaves. Rather than getting down over the loss of summer, just look around at the amazing photo opportunities. Stormy waters and cloudy skies, to beautiful colours on our deciduous trees.
I love the autumn colors, special the fantastic colors of some falling leaves.

I am currently taking the online Kick Start Class that is hosted by Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire this week and it has been lots of fun. Thursday's homework for Kick Start (day 4) was to do the following: "take a look around your craftroom for a card you created in the past and try giving it a new life". Or, Dig deep into your storage to find some old product that you still love". I decided to look at some of my old stamps and these two stamps is what I found. My original plan for this card was to have my panel of squares on the right side of the card, but at the last minute I decided that it looked better on the left. I stamped each decorative corners twice to form squares. I also used the colors for the Hero Arts color challenge and turned it into a fall card. I wanted my card to have some dimention so I placed the squares and hearts on dimentional adhesive.
These stamps have been in my craft room for awhile and the decorative corner stamps have been in my stash since 2006 and this is the first time that I used them. Thanks for stopping by and I do appreciate the comments.
Even though there are sunsets all year I think this one represents fall because the colours are fall colours and when you look closely you can see the trees are starting to look more bare because they are losing their leaves. This relates to my historical influence Eliot Porter because he took a reflection photo that wasn't too obvious that it was a fall photo except for the colours and few leaves in the water (Pool in a Brook, 1953).
