This is one of my favorite times of the year. The colors are so vibrant and alive and it really makes me feel alive even though everything else is getting ready to die off.
I mean just in this shot alone there are oranges, greens, yellows, reds, blues and everything in between.
I took this this evening just as the sun was going down and it really was a spectacular fall sunset

Two photos in which the moon was not moved, just refocused. A kind of extreme focus stacking. Seen on a walk past azalea shrubs in our Botanical Gardens.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. The beautiful leaves and the wonderful light in the woods fills me with warmth in preparation for the cold black and white winter.

Have you ever felt connected to a place? Well, Fall Creek Falls State Park is that place for me. I feel more centered and grounded there. We were able to spend the weekend there this weekend. I am now energized to take on the world! I felt like I was leaving a good friend when we left this morning.

Some roads look so beautiful, but not easy to walk, still tried to walk few unsafe paths, because this is fall.
I spent the weekend with my Dad running around Yosemite shooting fall color under clear skies. The color is not at peak yet so if you are thinking of going the next week or so will be prime.

I finally found the second of what turns out to be many waterfalls here in Nova Scotia. I drove all over the place Sunday looking for the two near Stewiacke so I drove to Truro and shot this one. My quest continues for the others!

Just like everywhere in the northern hemisphere, it's Fall here and the leaves are all changing marvelous colors!
