This looks a bit like a 1st winter Cape May Warbler, but, to be honest, I'm not really sure. (Help, John and Sharyn!) I can never keep up with their change from summer to fall to winter plumage. (Too many 'outfit' changes in too short a time!)

Mid August in Ohio is typically hot, dry and generally a prelude to change. However, this fall has been anything but dry, with nearly 4 inches of rain for the month (much more in other places) for us locally, cool(er) temperatures during the day and comfortable evenings, the typical sultry August days feel more like early June. I've always heard that a wet and cool August will make for more colorful trees as we transition seasons, perhaps this year we will see if this is true.

In the mean time, we had a visit of fall color here on the Toledo Subdivision. Southbound ethanol train, K447, with a pair of KCS "Belle's" rolls past the venerable color position light signals in Lima, Ohio. A stark contrast to the rich green of the trees and grasses, these two locomotives are harbinger of the season change to come.

Waves are inspiring not just because they rise and fall, but because each time they fall, they never fail to rise again- Dr Abdul J Kalam

Went to Wombarra Beach today morning to capture sunrise. This is a great place to capture some wave actions. This place also has an amazing green weeds great mood to the scene. Definitely worth going back again.

Long exposure of the waterfall and beautiful crisp colours of changing leaves.

A medley of fall colors adorn this tree at Woods Pond in Lenox, Dale, Massachusetts.

Feeling a little better, waiting for the fall color to start. It's starting a little in all the beautiful parks I have around me now, going to be a great season! :)

It was the best I've seen it in 10 years. It was so cool to share it with so many people. It was the cherry on top for our workshop participants.

A rare pic of me, taken on my timer, next to the Afon llugwy at Betws-Y-Coed. The river was in full flood, would not have been a good ending if I had slipped in

An absolutely perfect fall day by the East fork of the Black River. The trail isn't much, but it's beautiful.

Lately I've been super busy shooting client work and trying to save up money.

I took this picture in the park on a field trip with my viscom class. It was nice to relax and just enjoy some time to myself for a little bit. First time messing around with long exposures with waterfalls. I'm quite happy with how this turned out. 31/52

Another from my fall trip.

Oh, now I get it. Tone Mapping helps too.

Toyo 45c view camera ,90mm f8 schneider +orange filter , tmax100 in Adox R09 1-50 15 mins. Used the limited front tilt I have on the 90mm lens for this one (hence the vignette , might invest in a recessed lens board but not sure how much more movement it would allow)

Another old shot revisited. Cropped the top as the scene was dark with bright sunlight at the top of the fall

Many thanks to everyone who chooses to leave a comment or who adds one of my images to their favorites, its much appreciated. Regards Craig

Yet another shot from The Tangled Garden. This used to be the old shop before the new one was built, now it's a wonderful centre piece to a magical garden.
