A view towards Georgetown, Colorado.

After capturing a few hundred shots of leaves passing by as the stars passed overhead, I decided to try another location with a less definite current. It turned out great! I can't wait to show you the time-lapse video.

This closer shot taken from Kay Falls looked black and white before it was captured. I don't make reference to its lack of colour in the landscape, but rather what was in my mind. I wanted to release what seemed otherwise hidden in the scene.

When combined, the dark shadows and the brilliant whites show such tension, and the very essence of the scene.

If I fall

If I die

Know I lived it to the fullest

If I fall

If I die

Know I lived it missing bullets

I've taken a huge liking to windows, bed sheets & bright lights. Hopefully tomorrow will have some darker tones and warmer colours though because my stream is starting to look really uniform! That said, I feel like this project is a new beginning, and for all the right reasons.

It SNOWED last night, can you believe that!? It doesn't normally snow in Chapel Hill, and two days ago it was about 75 degrees outside. Today it's all gone and bright and sunny. Bipolar weather as always. I really wish it were during the daytime though so I could have had a chance to shoot! It's President's Day today so I'm at home all morning with no classes! I do have work later though :( followed by a whopping three days off!! I can't wait, I've been starting to feel tired even when I wake up which isn't like me!

Hope everyone's day is peachy and mangoey and whatnot :) xx

New Zealand weather in autumn

Long, sunny days tend to linger long into New Zealand’s autumn, and with average high temperatures of between 18 degrees Celcius (°C) and 25°C, you’ll hardly notice summer has ‘officially’ ended. Nights begin to get chilly around mid-April. Because it’s no longer high season, you won’t encounter the busy crowds of summer.

Autumn in New Zealand spans the months of March, April and May.

With a walk way that leads to a blind to water different birds at Barr Lake.

Located in Plainview, AR the farm is owned by a friend of mine retired from Wal-Mart. The barn was originally built in 1910, but has a more modern roof. Many of the original wood planks still remain.
