The 2007 Student Government Association's Fall Formal, held at the JD Events Center in Yankton.

I just love fall and the leaves changing. I hand wove Fall Crossing using brown, blue, orange and red Delica beads using a Right Angle Weave. Each hand woven set is join together using 3mm beads. If you're looking to make a real statement this fall then Fall Crossing is the right bracelet for you. Fall Crossing measures 7 1/8" x 1 5/8". I finished Fall Crossing off with two toggle clasp.

A Westbound "Z" Train rolls along the Mississippi River North of Savanna, Illinois on the Aurora Subdivision. The trees along the river really dropped their leaves in just the last week, but this is still a nice fall shot of the colors.

With all of the great abstracts I have been seeing this fall, I couldn't resist a couple attempts.

Leaves are Falling Autumn is Calling...…..

A small sample of this fall's brilliant colors from a maple at the edge of my yard.

That yellow blob in the middle is a lone leaf :)

Shot with my very first digital camera a long time ago ! Brought up to date via Topaz Adjust, Topaz Studio, and LR 6. I'm attempting to cope with Summer ending. : ((

"Of all the seasons, autumn offers the most to man and requires the least of him."

Hal Borland

This is by no means a pretty beach but it certainly has character with all the stumps from past pilings. I'm not really sure what this was years ago. Probably part of an old industrial dock.

This fall has been just incredible. I am in awe each time I wander the forest.

...and it keeps falling down earlier every day.

Beauty is all around us just open your eyes and look and breathe it all in....

On the Italian Alps in Piedmont the Zegna Oasis offers the ideal botanical variety to express fall in its splendor of yellows, oranges, reds, browns, plums and violets.

I know fall is beautiful, the weather is nice, the sweaters come out of storage and cats frolicking in the leaves provide plenty of photo ops. However, you have to admit, it's the season furtherest away from the next summer!

42/52 - Diptych

Still falling back in love with Idaho Spring.

I was here a while back. Just shot the falls from the road. This time I waded the little stream to get to the falls.

The broken clock is a comfort, it helps me sleep tonight

Maybe it can stop tomorrow from stealing all my time

I am here still waiting though I still have my doubts

I am damaged at best, like you've already figured out

I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing

With a broken heart that's still beating

In the pain there is healing

In your name I find meaning

The broken locks were a warning you got inside my head

I tried my best to be guarded, I'm an open book instead

I still see your reflection inside of my eyes

That are looking for a purpose, they're still looking for life

I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing

With a broken heart that's still beating

In the pain,... is there healing

In your name ... I find meaning

So I'm holdin' on, ... I'm holdin' on,

I'm holdin' on ... I'm still holdin',

I'm barely holdin' on to you...

I'm hangin' on another day

Just to see what you will throw my way

And I'm hanging on to the words you say

You said that I will be OK

The broken lights on the freeway left me here alone

I may have lost my way now, haven't forgotten my way home

I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing

With a broken heart that's still beating

In the pain ... there is healing

In your name I find meaning...

So I'm holdin' on, ... I'm holdin' on,

I'm holdin' on ... I'm still holdin',

I'm barely holdin' on to you...

I'm holdin' on, ... I'm holdin' on,

I'm holdin' on ... I'm still holdin',

I'm barely holdin' on to you...

My favorite season is here!

We are already having some color change here in Colorado which is a little early. Have not been able to get out and see it for myself but have been hearing about it.

This was take a couple years ago in Grand Teton National Park. Two trees frame Mount Moran.
