...into a sea of pink and blue.
I took this on Sunday after Brickfest at the Convention Center. The dreamy blue sky and pink blossoms are absolutely intoxicating. I can't get enough of them.

northern lights (aurora) dancing over the tamarack bog on a autumn night. always wonderful and amazing to witness!
Four dry years in California, and one good storm gets the waterfalls of Yosemite flowing again. I hope this is the first of many.

++++++++++++ EXPLORED!
I so love all your comments and they are invaluable in knowing what work resonates with people and why. If you fave a photo of mine, could you please take a moment to tell me why... I always find it strange to see that people have added a photo to their favorites without leaving a comment. Thanks so much!!

I couldn't even predict how many changes have happened through this year. I'm glad that I have documented it. There are special thanks for Flickr, 52 Weeks Project Group, Flickr Society and all the people who were involved in all this. Thank you once more!

One of the last F unit leaders up here was this westbound on November 2, 1979. Extra 212B is working up the hill west of Trout Lake with 502C and 63 cars. A few years before and I probably wouldn't have bothered shooting this job with the cloud cover but the end was near and I was off and running with my beat up 70 Chevy in pursuit. I shot this job multiple times so you will see more of it sooner or later.
