Western Pennsylvania's most uniquely named waterfall, Fall Run Falls is located along the appropriately named Fall Run in a very creatively named Fall Run Park.
There is an easy 3/4 mile flat hike along a wide trail in the park, which is located directly off of, get this: Fall Run Road, in Shaler Township, Allegheny County, PA. This location is very easily accessible by a quick turn off PA Route 8 in Shaler.
Normally a very small trickle throughout most of the year, this is actually an impressive waterfall with a 30 foot drop under high water conditions.
Fall Colors. Backlit dogwood leaves. I was able to spend a little time taking photos. Even though I missed the peak of the fall colors I was able to find some very colorful leaves. These leaves leaves were baklit against the sky witha little fill-n flash.

This year I just discovered how much I love fall and I don't want it to fade quick anymore like I used to. Everything turned colors and it's so beautiful anywhere you go around here! This is what they call 8 mile creek or should I say dried out since it was a dry summer here. This place was magic I just couldn't leave this place it was like oasis since it was really really windy by the lake and this place was like heaven. Please look for more captures from this place since I am very attached with it now.
The whitetail rut is a fall ritual that I enjoy much more with a camera than a rifle. Here a small nine-point we've dubbed Nueve slinks away from a bigger buck.

This Star Magnolia (Magnolia stellata) has gorgeous, big creamy white and pink flowers in the early Spring - even before its leaves pop. And then it's sort of a run-of-the-mill woody shrub through the Summer months.
But in the Fall and through the Winter it shines again - first with these glorious golden leaves. And then, after the leaves drop, with its big, furry flower buds that add lovely textures and the look of snowy hats through the Winter storms. :)
Visit to wet and rainy Ricketts Glen with some very nice leaf colors and carpet of leaves everywhere. It was grand day today exploring the glen and all the lovely sights.

We go into fall.
Fall seems to be making a lack-luster entrance in my area this year, with minimal color and leaves browning before falling. Hoping things turn for the better soon.

A beautiful fall in the Rockies...
It's a summery of 2014, I suppose. A year in photos.. It was a good year, though I would wish for us to travel more.. Hopefully 2015 will allow us that. Happy New Year, guys! May it be a very good one!! :D

Caught this scene in a roadside park off of I-196 just south of Holland after dropping my daughter off at college.
Fall colours portend the beginning of unrelenting winter rains in Vancouver. British Columbia, Canada.
This is Texas, we have to take our fall colors where we can find it.
