Rome, October 2014

Even the birds stayed home.

I don't recognize the crew member at the switch but often times the engineer would throw it. The two cars behind the engine were probably bad order.

A pottery bowl from the North Carolina holding a single pear.

Water drop shot in my studio with a Canon EF 100 f/2.8 Macro and my 60D.

There's probably too many of these on my Flickr/Deviantart already but I'm uploading this one anyway. No two pictures are ever the same.

Playing around with some new ideas. The trees were inspired by a sweatshirt I found in a catalog. The square leaf cookies idea came from a pillow in a catalog.

Week 42 (v 5.0) - colourfall

Don't tell, I actually just edited this one up real quick for use as a background now that I have my Windows 10 upgrade running. Why not, you know? :)

I feel the water in my pulmons.

farmer's markets are everywhere these days... this one was in the financial district, on the ground floor, inside a three-tiered galleria. i zoomed in on the peppers from the second tier and then edited to crop, get rid of a stain on the blue table cover, clone out some stray veggies, deepen the shadows and change the colors.

Took this on the way to Emerald Lake, the mountains looked awesome in the background.

25 seconds in the life of a waterfall caught in one picture.

My wife suggested to me recently that every shot doesn't have to have clouds, or fog in them. This one is for her.

Here is a classic October sunrise in Santa Cruz at Its Beach last Saturday. A compressed fog deck flowed in and out through out the morning. This shot was captured during a brief moment as the flog retreated.

I had fun on this shoot with flckr friend Sam Post. There were a lot of great moments during that morning, but this capture was my favorite.

From warmer Fall days, a digital painting of a big pot of geraniums on my daughter's back balcony.

All the leaves are gone now. Happy Thanksgiving!

Sunshine lights up so many tree colours.

Sun setting over Long Island Sound.

A 3 stop hard GND filter was used and slight adjustment to levels in Photoshop. This is exactly how the colors looked. No HDR.
