Just like Fall splits the difference between summer and winter, the exciting new autumn fashions for 2025 walk the fine line be between cool mornings and warmer afternoons and will keep your personal climate space comfortable no matter what Mother Nature throws at you!
A light frost in the morning is no match for our completely unbreathable 100% polyester jacket in tweed from Freeman’s in Springfield, Missouri featuring fashion forward trim on the front pocket. Throw on another unbreathable layer, a ribbed nylon wife beater from Shorewood and your upper body will stay as warm as a wet kiss from grandma without losing an once of precious body heat.
Calf-high socks in mesmerizing patterns keep the chill off white ankles and lower legs while allowing a moderate degree of compression thrusting blood back upwards toward the heart. But be forewarned: that euphoric blood rush may cause you to break out in the Macarena!
When the sun breaks through the clouds warming up the afternoon, have no fear with above-the-knee slim fit shorts from Tailor Vintage. A spandex, nylon and cotton blend allows for maximum hip movement and minimal swamp ass while working your one-liners at the Econo Lodge bar.
Be the envy of all of Applebee’s when you sport genuine imitation aviator sunglasses by Margaritaville with gold frame and accents. You’ll be cooler than Jimmy Buffet himself as you pass the alkies at the bar and flash them a “fins up” hand gesture.
Keep them guessing with your solid steel block letter cloth rope necklace with your first initial. They’ll drive themselves crazy trying to remember your name. “Grant. Gunner. No, that’s not it. Gustavo! Damn it. What is his name?”
Dorothy and her red shoes has nothing on you when you top it all off with a pair of faux diamond slip-ons from Steve Madden. Let the sunshine sparkle on your happy feet as you tackle the fall season with classic styles with modern twists and cozy layering!
We went for a wonderful hike today and we saw signs of the red fall colors. I tried to have some fun with motion blur just before hiking the rest of the trail that led right into that black "hole' to the right. The warm temperatures today will probably slow down the changes happening in the trees for a bit.
Took a stroll in Shubie Park on Monday. The trees are are about 75% turned now. I spotted this lovely glow in the water, walking past what I affectionately call the swamp trees. With the pond/lake, weed/grass perfectly placed in the water, my abstract urge took hold!
A vivid image of a dead branch of the Ruhr river in Essen, Germany, catching the late afternoon sun last fall.
Drove to Bethel, ME from Boston.
Took a circular route from Sebago lake apto Bethel and then back using another route, colors were OK, not spectacular.
But at some curves in the road, the colors did sparkle.
The holding out of an object, so cliche, right? But so fun to do. That's why I love this group, because it gives you an excuse to do all those cliche shots that are just so fun!
1/31 of my October Fall Series. Trying to reconnect with my photography and wonderful Flickr friends.

Fall in Florida. We may not have the amazing fall foliage with all the vibrant colors, but we do have amazing sunsets. This is a photo taken on the Indian River during sunset. Vibrant pinks and blues light up the sky and reflect on the water. Yes, this is Fall - Florida style!
In just another week or so our local fall color should peak for the season, although the yellows are quite dark this year. CN Train S716, with a single bad ordered well car on the head end, Mile 54.0 Edson Sub.
Fall leaves. The vibrant fall colors and patterns in these maple leave are greatly enhanced with back lighting

The 9 acres of park grounds around rustic Filberg Lodge in Comox has become a lovely fall resting place for a few of Vancouver Island's little, dainty, black-tailed deer. A slow and easy movement ever closer allows one to sit at their level. This one continued grooming, undisturbed by my presence.
This image was taken whilst exploring a local woodland.
This is another image captured during the recent snow fall. Although the snow had previously come down heavy, it had either turned to light snow or stopped.
As I was photographing this image the heavy snow returned as too did the decision to head home or take a risk and stay a little longer. The lines that you can perhaps see is the snow falling.
Fall photoset! I took so many photos because I couldn’t choose just one! I stopped by the Chapter 4 and got these super cute leaf poses!

Messerschmidts Pond, CT, USA. A cold chilly fall morning... This was shot with film and printed from a negative last century!
One of many views while fallowing the Marquette Sub. No train this day just plenty of fall colors. (Hit L for a full screen view)
On an unusually hot fall day Third Creek flows into Lake Tahoe at Incline Beach, Incline Village, Nevada.
