i love my dad and everything about going over there. and also the fact that it's fall.

Just dropping in to say "Howdy"!

I suddenly realized I haven't posted anything in days!

I haven't even taken that many pictures over the past week......not a planned hiatus, but you know how it goes.

Sometimes life calls you in different directions!

I hope to catch up with everyone real soon!

Slide scan #11. I found this little patch of aspens as I was driving home from a weekend at Mt. Timpanogos. I had another comp with the trees more centered in the frame, but that one came out just a little overexposed, so I chose to get this one scanned. I posted a digital stitch of an aspen grove a while back with some golden ferns that I actually like a bit better, but since I already had the stitch of that one I didn't want to pay for a scan of that one either. After printing that stitch out at 20" x 60" I now wish I had scanned it since it is noticeably less sharp than the film. Does the unbalanced comp bother you? I'm still not too sure how I feel about it. Velvia 50.

The first killing frost of the season. The temperature fell to minus six Celsius overnight and even the hardiest of the late sunflowers fell too. Time to find the heavier jacket I guess.
