Let me fall
Let me climb
There's a moment when fear
And dreams must collide

" As the falling memories trickles on window
The sound had come back again
In this quiet down room...
and a canvass created through my window..."

it's a little early to get pumpkins, I think, but the great feeling with morning brisk air and no bugs is soooo welcome!

Spotted at the Seton Shrine in Emmitsburg, MD.
Snow-laden late fall aspen in the Eastern Sierra last Monday.
For this shot I parked at the location mentioned on page 60 of my guidebook and walked up about 100 yards.

This photo was shot along highway 20 in Washington State just outside of Winthrop. We were in the area for a church marriage retreat and took a scenic drive up into the pass. We were fortunate enough to get some beautiful weather on a cold fall morning and snapped a number of photos that prove it.
Something bright and cheery for a soon to be snowy Monday commute. I love my fall blooming crocus, always nice spots of color in the fall. With our warmer fall and winter this year I still had a few blooming in December when we were putting up our Christmas lights.
"Fall Waterfall:" Another take on the Fossil Creek Waterfall, this one taken just 3 days earlier than my last post when the fall leaves were even more abundant. It is always a race against time when the season of leaf-changing is ongoing, especially in Arizona, where the elevation varies so dramatically across the state.

Zion should be one of the best places to see fall in southwest. There is all the elements you need to take a great picture by just showing up. This was shot along virgin river to show all the three elements - water, fall color and red rock.
Found this leaf hanging out on a fence...

"Yellow ginko leaves were flying in the wind
Like people passing by, I see them flying far away
How long will beautiful things in the world stay?"

I just spent the long weekend up at my trailer for the Canadian
Thanksgiving weekend. I noticed the colours up there are still not as much as other years. It is still a little early. But I did find some lovely Sumac trees full of lovely Fall colours. This is a sample.
A couple of weekends ago we had a real blaze of Fall across the river. Since then, wind and rain, and all the "pretty" has just about disappeared.
The hypnic jerk is what you experience when you´re about to fall asleep and you suddenly "jump" , feeling like you´re falling.
In my series The Sleep Project I investigate the state between being awake and falling asleep. I´m searching for surrealistic landscapes to illustrate the many strange things that happen in this state of mind.
This was shot at the Reynisfjara shore near VÃk on Iceland. Oh that place is truly magical! I need to go back to Iceland soon!!! :)
