Brand new in 1990, this Express Mail mailbox was either re-painted into the classic scheme with old USPS logos, or possibly transplanted in original scheme. Prior to 2014 there was a mailbox in this location in a newer Express Mail scheme. Seen alongside a Relay Mail cabinet in downtown Philadelphia on 4th Street at Ludlow.

Following D9000 through Biggleswade is the unlikely sight of the ScotRail push-pull set, heading towards Edinburgh on 21st April 2023 as part of the 'Deltic 'Royal Scots Grey' Special'. The entire six-coach set - owned by Locomotive Services Group - comprises of five Mark 3s and Mark 2 DBSO No.9707, all painted in the ScotRail Express livery first applied in autumn 1984.

The wonderful Tea Time Express out the front of the Irish Life Mall on Talbot Street, sadly closed last time I passed, provided me with countless delicious apple donuts on walks to and from Connolly Station.

2018 Work Duty: Chaperoning the kids in our program on the Polar Express Train Ride. The kids are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas and experience a whimsical ride on the Polar Express where they will enjoy hot chocolate and yummy cookies, as they ride along with many of the beloved story’s characters such as the Train Conductor, the Dancing Waiters, and even a ghostly Hobo. Once we reached the North Pole, Santa Claus made his way on board to give each passenger a silver sleigh bell, the “first gift of Christmas”. The train ride consisted of 7 separate cars pulled by vintage locomotives. It was quite enjoyable. The kids loved it.
