Providence and Worcester B40-8 #4004 pulls the second run of the day out of the station in Woonsocket, RI.
With only two more days worth of trips left in the season, the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council's Polar Express finally gets some appropriate weather. Unfortunately, the snow stopped after the first run of the day and turned into freezing rain. But, none the less still festive enough for the kids and their trip to the "North Pole".

Express Dairy Company (London) Limited Hunslet Engine Company Limited 'Yardmaster' four wheel diesel-mechanical locomotive DAVID stands in milk distribution depot at Morden
DAVID was built by Hunslet Engine Company Limited (works number 5308) at Hunslet works, Leeds in 1960 for Baglan Engineering Company Limited at Neath. It was out of use by January 1969 and was purchased by Express Dairy Company (London) Limited for use at South Morden circa the early 1970s. Rail traffic ceased in December 1978 and DAVID was sold at some time to Resco (Railways) Limited where it was totally rebuilt at Woolwich with the works number L107. It was sold to Ciba-Giegy Chemicals for use at Pyewipe works at Grimsby before being donated in March 2005 to the Great Northern & East Lincolnshire Railway at Ludborough
The milk distribution depot was connected to the Down line between Wimbledon 'C' and St. Helier signal boxes near Morden South railway station. The connection was controlled by a two lever ground frame which was opened on 31st March 1954, and was 770 yard from St. Helier signal box but was electrically released by Wimbledon 'C' signal box

A four-car M train switches off the express track at Marcy Ave Station on the Jamaica Line, en-route to its weekend terminus at Essex St. This train is made up of R160A cars manufactured by Alstom from 2005-2010.
Express Motors CX56AXD is a MAN 18.220 with Marcopolo Viale bodywork. Seen in Bangor, CX56AXD was new to the company.
Express Motors M574YEM is a Volvo B10B with Wright Endurance bodywork. Seen at the depot in Penygroes, M574YEM was new to Merseyside as their 6574.

The clag above 47805 as it leans into the S-bend on the approach to Twyford station is being generated by A4 "Sir Nigel Gresley", tucked in behind the 47, rather than the diesel. The working was an empty coaching stock move from Southall to Crewe.

This weekly express has RSA with 22845/22846 Hatia - Pune Superfast Express and has strange route to reach Ranchi. It takes longer route via Bhusaval - Itarsi - Jabalpur - Katni - Allahabad - Varanasi - Mughal Sarai - Gaya - Bokaro Steel City to reach Ranchi, ignoring shorter route of Bhusaval - Amravati - Nagpur - Raipur - Bilaspur - Rourkela to reach Ranchi. Notice the Asangaon bound train blocking the Up main line for time being till it departs as Mumbai CST bound train as this station does not have spare station.
Metra F40PHM-3 188 and F40PH-3 181 lead an outbound express train as F40PHM-3 194 stops at the LaGrange Rd station during the evening rush.
