And the fading ghost sign on the Paris Block on West Hastings Street. After decades in the same location Model Express has recently moved their shop a few doors to the East so I'm not sure how much longer the old plastic signage will be up.

Another capture from the night i visited the new northern express way development. Very lucky that the work crew were on midnight smoko when I visited the site as others have commented on how hard it is to gain access without getting kicked out. Guess it was just meant to be.

Express Motors N814DNE is a Volvo B10M with Alexander PS bodywork. Seen at the depot in Penygroes, N814DNE was new to Greater Manchester South as their 814. This became 20814 in the Stagecoach fleet.
Express Motors unusual MAN / Plaxton Centro CX09 EMS hurries past the now closed Ferodo factory on the outskirts of Caernarfon with a 1A journey to Penygroes, despite what the destination says! It is thought this bus has now passed to an operator in West Yorkshire.

The NY Transit Museum's train of R1-9 "Arnines" pulls into the pocket track at Marcy Avenue Station on the BMT Jamaica Line, led by R9 car 1802. This day's nostalgia ride included a run on both the Jamaica and Myrtle Avenue Lines, with the BU gate cars running a few round trips on the express track between Myrtle Avenue and Marcy Avenue stations. The Arnines tucked into the pocket track to clear the track for the gate cars.

National Express Caetano Levante coach with England Flag passes Sirus Lodge on a diversion to London as the Motorway is closed.
Coach is a diecast by Corgi OOC, Volvo B9R Caetano Levante released in July 2013. 1:76 scale OO gauge.

InterCity Express Train (IET) Class 802/2, 802 201 works a nighttime test train from Crewe to Warrington Bank Quay. 802 202 was the lead unit heading north.
Whilst 802202 remains in unliveried grey, 802201 is already in the livery of TransPennine Express who these units are destined for.
802201 and 802202 were working 5Q82 Crewe to Warrington, having earlier come across from Doncaster IEP Depot on 5Q80/81 via Mirfield. They completed three return trips to Warrington before the units then returned to Mirfield/Doncaster.

Back in 1985 NJ Transit's Pony Express service actually lived up to it's name....trains delivered passengers to within steps of the grandstand at Monmouth Park. After a day at the races, passengers return to this waiting consist for the trip back to Newark via the North Jersey Coast Line.
Over the years the spur to the race track was shortened. It would be abandoned by 2006 in favor of longer walk from the seasonal Monmouth Park station on the adjacent NJCL.
