Feuer unter der Oberfläche. Das Eis ist geschmolzen.

A planet awakens and new life arises? It is bubbling, the craters show the fire, you can feel the heat and the ice is already in the new state of aggregation of water. When will the first creatures be discovered?
As I was preparing this object for photography, I missed a little life, vibrancy to the spotty and patinated surface with the many dot holes. A little light from behind, maybe red? Some light from the side to highlight the texture better? Suddenly it looked like the surface of the moon and I decided to create a new planet ;-) What glows from the inside is the head of an old zinc can, illuminated by a bicycle light and sprinkled with drops of water. Maybe I should use the can again to water the flowers so the dust is washed off ...

EIn Planet erwacht und es entsteht neues Leben? Es brodelt, in den Kratern ist das Feuer zu sehen, man spürt die Hitze und das Eis ist bereits in den neuen Aggregatzustand des Wassers versetzt. Wann werden die ersten Lebewesen zu entdecken sein?
Als ich dabei war, dieses Objekt zum Fotografieren aufzubauen, fehlte mir ein wenig Leben, Lebendigkeit zu der gefleckten und mit Patina versehenen Oberfläche mit den vielen Punktlöchern. Etwas Licht von hinten, vielleicht rot? Etwas Licht von der Seite, um die Struktur besser hervorzuheben? Plötzlich sah es aus wie die Oberfläche des Mondes und ich beschloss, einen neuen Planeten zu erschaffen ;-) Was hier so von Innen glüht, ist der Gießkopf einer alten Kanne aus Zink, erleuchtet durch eine Fahrradlampe und mit Wassertropfen besprenkelt. Vielleicht sollte ich die Kanne wieder einmal zum Gießen der Blumen verwenden, damit der Staub abgewaschen wird …

Der Hochstrahlbrunnen wurde anlässlich der Fertigstellung der I. Wiener Hochquellwasserleitung im Beisein von Kaiser Franz Joseph 1873 in Betrieb genommen. Nachts leuchtet der Brunnen in verschiedenen Farben. 1945 wurde das Heldendenkmal der Roten Armee zur Erinnerung an die 17000, bei der Schlacht um Wien gegen Ende des 2. Weltkrieges, gefallenen Soldaten errichtet.

The high-jet fountain was commissioned on the occasion of the completion of the I Vienna High Spring Water Pipeline in the presence of Emperor Franz Joseph in 1873. At night the fountain glows in different colours. In 1945, the Red Army Heroes' Monument was erected in memory of the 17,000 soldiers who died in the Battle of Vienna towards the end of the Second World War.

The landscape of La Palma is dominated in the north by the Caldera de Taburiente. The northern edge of the caldera is completed by the Roque de los Muchachos (2,426 m), the highest peak on La Palma.
The picture above was taken during a short break in cloudy weather and minus 2 ° celsius.
Die Landschaft von La Palma wird im Norden von der Caldera de Taburiente geprägt. Der Nordrand der Caldera wird vom Roque de los Muchachos (2.426 m), dem höchsten Gipfel auf La Palma abgeschlossen.

Die Minoritenkirche am Minoritenplatz in der Wiener Innenstadt war eine der ersten gotischen Kirchen im ostösterreichischen Raum. Die Kirche wurde mehrmals verändert und erweitert um zu ihrem heutigen Aussehen zu gelangen.

Bis Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts befand sich anstelle des Wiener Stadtparks ein Erholungsgebiet mit einem Kurpavillon für Trinkkuren. Zur Zeit von Johann Strauss entwickelte sich der Kursalon zu einem beliebten Tanz- und Konzertlokal der Wiener Gesellschaft. Hans Hübner pachtete 1908 den Kursalon und bis heute heißt er Kursalon Hübner und wird für Hochzeiten, Bälle und auch Konzerte genutzt.

Until the middle of the 19th century, a recreation area with a spa pavilion for drinking cures was located in place of the Vienna City Park. During the time of Johann Strauss, the Cure salon developed into a popular dance and concert venue for Viennese society. Hans Hübner leased the Cure solon in 1908 and until today it is called Kursalon Hübner (Hübner's Cure salon) and is used for weddings, balls and also concerts.

7DWF – Fridays: Flora
What can you do if the days are grey, and the sun doesn't show up, but you are longing to see something beautiful? Recommendation: Pay a visit to the greenhouses at your local Botanical Garden ;-) Taken during a nice photo walk with Sabine.R. Proper light? No chance at the moment. But we found many beautiful plants and flowers defying the ugly Berlin winter weather, including blooming camellias and spiky cactuses. This is neither nor, obviously. For some plants I remembered to photograph the name tag as well, but, you've guessed it, not for this one.

Trübe Tage ohne Ende... Da lohnt ein Besuch der Gewächshäuser im heimischen Botanischen Garten, wenn man mal wieder was Schönes entdecken möchte ;-) Von Licht zwar keine Spur, und auch in den Gewächshäusern ist jetzt Winter, es gab aber dennoch viel – ganz eigen – Schönes zu sehen. Blühende Kamelien, stachelige Kakteen und diese Pflanze, bei der ich mal wieder nicht daran gedacht hatte, auch das Namensschild zu fotografieren. Fotonachmittag mit Sabine.R :-)

The restaurant La Muralla outside of Tijarafe in the west of La Palma is located high above the Atlantic and is known not only for the good food but also for the unique sunsets. For this picture I have interrupted my meal briefly to capture the falling behind dark clouds light spots forever ;-))
Das Restaurante La Muralla außerhalb von Tijarafe im Westen von La Palma liegt hoch über dem Atlantik und ist nicht nur wegen des guten Essens sondern auch für die einmaligen Sonnenuntergänge bekannt. Für dieses Bild habe ich meine Mahlzeit kurz unterbrochen um die hinter dunklen Wolken herab fallenden Lichtspots für immer festzuhalten;-))

The monument in honour of the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has been located in Vienna's Burggarten since 1953, before that, it stood on Albertinaplatz.
La nature nous invite souvent à découvrir ses secrets. Elle nous influence quelques fois à vouloir embellir le naturel à travers une photographie. Ici pas de contraste poussé, pas de saturation exacerbée, pas de post traitement autre que l'affinement de la netteté. Juste la beauté respectée, l'émerveillement à travers mon optique.

Nature often invites us to discover its secrets. It sometimes influences us to want to embellish the natural through a photograph. Here there is no high contrast, no exacerbated saturation, no post-processing other than sharpening. Just the respected beauty, the wonder through my lens.

La natura ci invita spesso a scoprire i suoi segreti. A volte ci influenza il desiderio di abbellire il naturale attraverso una fotografia. Qui non c'è contrasto elevato, saturazione esacerbata, post-elaborazione se non nitidezza. Solo la bellezza rispettata, la meraviglia attraverso il mio obiettivo.

Die Natur lädt uns oft ein, ihre Geheimnisse zu entdecken. Manchmal beeinflusst es uns, das Natürliche durch ein Foto verschönern zu wollen. Hier gibt es keinen hohen Kontrast, keine verstärkte Sättigung, keine Nachbearbeitung außer dem Schärfen. Nur die respektierte Schönheit, das Wunder durch meine Linse.

… habe ich dieses Foto gemacht. Da Austria und Australien durch die Ähnlichkeit der Wörter häufig verwechselt werden, gibt es schon seit längerer Zeit diese lustigen Verkehrsschilder auf T-Shirts oder wie im Bild auf Häferln ...

… I took this photos. As Austria and Australia are often mixed up because of the similarity of the words, there have been these funny road signs on T-shirts or, as in the picture, on mugs for quite some time....
ENG: Welcome to the new year! ☻ You can see the Berlin Reichstag building with a christmas tree.
We have made yesterday equal times a New Year's walk through Berlin's center. Past the Red City Hall, where the Christmas market Ferris wheel still turns, further "Unter den Linden" to the "Tiergarten" and back to the Suburban train station „Friedrichstraße“. The small about 5 kilometers long City Walk was nevertheless very relaxing. Since it was just wonderful to watch the many tourists and to discover his own city times again.

GER: Willkommen im neuen Jahr! ☻ Zu sehen ist der Berliner Reichstag mit Tannenbaum.
Wir haben gestern gleich mal einen Neujahrs Spaziergang durch Berlins Mitte gemacht. Vorbei am Roten Rathaus, wo sich immer noch das Weihnachtsmarkt Riesenrad dreht, weiter „Unter den Linden“ bis zum „Tiergarten“ und zurück zum S-Bahnhof Friedrichstraße. Der kleine etwa 5 Kilometer lange City Walk war doch sehr entspannend. Da es einfach herrlich war, die vielen Touristen zu beobachten und seine eigene Stadt mal wieder zu entdecken.
