U.S. Army North Geospatial Engineer Staff Sgt. Daniel Paz promoted from sergeant to staff sergeant at the Quadrangle on Fort Sam Houston, Texas, October 14, 2022.
Congratulations, Staff Sgt. Paz!
They had a group of engineers from Boeing, and they placed a monitor on the table then shot a fruitcake through their cannon. I got the lucky shot of it blowing up!
Manitou Springs has an annual "Fruitcake Toss". If you look closely you can see bits of fruitcake.
If you look to the top right of his body you can see a hole that goes through his body I think it looks awesome
We were on the way to scouting some location for shooting music video of ThaiOil Corporation.
We have to dress like an engineer for safety reason. Oil refinery is such a very dangerous area on earth!!

Like Deja Vu, the last time we chased a train on this end of the CV, we followed CSX 1853 with Eastman empties, catching it in this very spot. That day earlier in the year sported Mr. Russell Smith as the engineer and Mr. Zac Hendrickson as the conductor. Funnily enough, the next Heritage Unit to run, CSX 1902, sports the same pair in the cab, and caught in the same spot. Here, Mr. Smith looks down upon s from the cab.

The GTO was the brainchild of Pontiac engineer Russell Gee, an engine specialist; Bill Collins, a chassis engineer; and Pontiac chief engineer John DeLorean. In early 1963, General Motors' management issued an edict banning divisions from involvement in auto racing. At the time, Pontiac's advertising and marketing approach was heavily based on performance, and racing was an important component of that strategy. With GM's ban on factory-sponsored racing, Pontiac's young, visionary management turned its attention to emphasizing street performance.
The previous economy engine and standard 350 hp 400 CID V8 remained, while the 360 hp 400HO was upgraded to the Ram Air III, rated at 366 hp at 5,100 rpm. The top option was the 370 hp Ram Air IV, which featured special header-like high-flow exhaust manifolds, high-flow cylinder heads, a specific high-rise aluminum intake manifold, larger Rochester QuadraJet four-barrel carburetor, high-lift/long-duration camshaft, plus various internal components capable of withstanding higher engine speeds and power output. Unlike the big-block Chevy and Hemi motors, the Ram Air IV utilized hydraulic lifters.
