Malee was born April 15, 2011 and weighed 304 pounds. Her mother is Asha and her auntie, half-sister to Asha, is Chandra. The mom and auntie are great with Malee. Malee moves under them and around them and they never seem to hit her. They also will stop her if she is doing something they don't like.

The elephant enclosure is over 5 acres in size and is a marvelous setup.

The new elephant exhibit was the most depressing part of the entire day. When will people learn?
