I got out for an 8-hour drive on 15 May 2024, because our parking lot and stalls had to be cleaned of all the gravel. It had been postponed from a previous date. So, I got up around 6:30 am and after I was ready, headed SW to one of my favourite areas and wherever else I might end up. Drove first to see if I could see a Wilson’s Snipe, was very happy to find three of them, and was finally able to get the first photos of this species this season. I was happy to see a little White-crowned Sparrow, too, as it had been quite a while since I last saw one. A few Mountain Bluebirds were seen along various roads.
Drove further west and then headed south and, eventually turned eastwards. Nothing really much to see. So, had a good long drive and, though tiring, was enjoyable. Nice to have a few more new photos instead of digging into the archives, even though the weather was low-light and my camera didn't take sharp photos of most things.
As I was getting started with analog photography I got into the habit of taking a film camera with me everywhere I went and simply took photos of anything that I found interesting. This was a great way of getting used to photographing with film and everything it entails. This set of images is from that period and consist of small scenes that I found on the streets around my current home of Baden in Switzerland.

A mesmerizing close-up of a peacock’s feathers, revealing the intricate patterns, iridescent hues, and striking “eye” designs that make this bird one of nature’s most stunning creations.
This photo looking South at Yesnaby was taken close to the middle of May on an afternoon when the North Atlantic Ocean was amazingly calm.
In the far distance is the Island Of Hoy which at St John's Head has Britain's highest vertical sea cliffs. There they are 351 metres high.

A quick explanation about the technique.
First of all, i decide what would be the background. Then i print it as large as possible and put just behind the recipient of water, up side down.
I adjust the focus with a little syringe on the top of the recipient. ( even using f.22, with macro lens, it´s hard to enlarge the focus area, and i have to do this very carefully in the way not to touch the camera after this )
I use an infrared system to shoot the flashes at the right moment the drop falls in the water. In a dark room, i left the camera open for 1 or 2 seconds and i throw the drops. To get a really nice shot, the drop have to fall in the right place a made the focus. That´s why my pictures are sharp. Making an average, I could say that i have to shoot about 300 times to get a picture that surprises me. My secret is patience and persistence. :o)

Jojo is all about being happy and enjoying life just as much as it sexual and so as well as dressing in black and other dark colours sometimes especially in Summer it's just great to put something on that is so bright and eyecatching everyone will look and remember me. Well I say that as it's all about confidence and I tend to find that when I just go for it and be extrovert people react favourably and where I might expect to get stares of bewildered amazement they seem to relax and I get more smiles. I'm sure a lot of women must realise I am transgendered of course and probably enjoy my 'male take' on fashion.

My photography of such a gorgeous rich red colored Dahlia bud ready to open before a rich blue sky. I am just amazed at nature's perfection with these gorgeous buds.
------------------------------------------------------------
Dahlia is a genus of bushy, tuberous, herbaceous perennial plants native to Mexico. A member of the Asteraceae (or Compositae), dicotyledonous plants, related species include the sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum, and zinnia. There are 42 species of dahlia, with hybrids commonly grown as garden plants. Flower forms are variable, with one head per stem; these can be as small as 2 in (5.1 cm) diameter or up to 1 ft (30 cm) ("dinner plate"). This great variety results from dahlias being octoploids—that is, they have eight sets of homologous chromosomes, whereas most plants have only two. In addition, dahlias also contain many transposons—genetic pieces that move from place to place upon an allele—which contributes to their manifesting such great diversity.
The stems are leafy, ranging in height from as low as 12 in (30 cm) to more than 6–8 ft (1.8–2.4 m). The majority of species do not produce scented flowers or cultivars. Like most plants that do not attract pollinating insects through scent, they are brightly colored, displaying most hues, with the exception of blue.
The dahlia was declared the national flower of Mexico in 1963.The tubers were grown as a food crop by the Aztecs, but this use largely died out after the Spanish Conquest. Attempts to introduce the tubers as a food crop in Europe were unsuccessful.

Ja, alles wird heutzutage bewertet, begutachtet, gecastet,
gecheckt . . . ja, auch DU . . . nee, das merkst DU gar nicht . . . egal, sei's drum . .
Elegant woman poses against a vibrant floral backdrop in an artistic setting during daytime
A striking woman with long, flowing red hair wears a black dress while gracefully posing in front of a colorful floral mural.
"Floral City Muse"
In the hush of a summer-lit street,
she stands—
a silhouette of midnight silk,
black dress flowing like whispered secrets
against the hum of the city.
Long, red hair spills in molten ribbons,
catching sunlight
as if the day itself
were painting her portrait.
Behind her,
a mural blooms—
petals in riotous color,
nature’s dream stitched into brick and mortar,
urban walls breathing wild gardens.
She poses,
grace in every line,
a quiet rebellion of elegance
in a world of hurried footsteps.
Street art and sky conspire
to frame her—
a living brushstroke,
a fashion statement
that speaks of culture,
of individuality,
of beauty unafraid to be seen.
The city watches,
its glass and steel softened
by her presence—
a modern muse,
rooted in the moment,
yet timeless as the flowers
that bloom behind her.
A German language version of the brochure that describes the new corporate identity of BritishRail's Railfreight division that was introduced in 1987. The sector itself had been created in 1982 to better manage the freight traffic on the rail network.
The identities were based on the sub-sectors of the business, according to the nature of the product carried; coal, metal, aggregates, oil or petroleum, LPG, petro-chemicals, and construction materials. As well as the bold symbols for the sectors, depot plates were produced alongside an eyecatching new livery for the locomotives in the sector pool. The designs were produced, as was this brochure, by the graphic design concern of Roundel Design Group. The brochure was, I suspect, produced for the 1988 IVA industry exhibition held in Hamburg, Germany. This double page shows the new sector symbols set against specimens of BR's Rail Alphabet.

A change of season and now the harvest is in. Drove just south of the city yesterday, but the sun wasn't shining. This photo is taken from the opposite direction to the image below. I sometimes wish the area wasn't as hilly, because I can't get both the road and the row of red granaries horizontal. Think I made the mistake of not keeping the slightly uphill road level in my viewfinder and letting the sheds slope down to the right more. Or maybe I'm just sweating the small stuff, LOL?
Eyecatching MILF in slimfit jeans, nice top and blazer. Having beautiful long hair, nice makup and pink colored nails. Walking in awesome classy stiletto pumps having a 4-5inch high heel with black to red color gradient, while her boyfriend is wearing comfy sneakers :D
She was walking very well, which could indicate that she was used to her sexy shoes. I saw them a couple of times and saw no struggleing.
I am always wondering why women wearing high heeled shoes to a tradeshow, which means much walking and standing. Do they want to compete with the trade show hostess to impress their boyfriends? In this case, at least for her footwear, she was beating the hostess girls :)
