A gate in the New Forest, Hampshire, surrounded by ferns and other foliage, turning wonderful colours as the season moves in the UK from Summer to Autumn.
A tiny digger, though this is the larger of the lizards. He's very young and a stunning eyecatching colour with jewelled green and blue along the flank.
Orange and blue pipe cleaners twisted together! :-)

This shows a 'new' shop in a corner of Cotignac. I say 'new' but it's not really as it was originally situated somewhere else in the village and it has moved to this prime location at the bottom of the Cours Gambetta at the heart of everything. Their previous location was almost hidden away in the Place de la Mairie so they must be delighted at this picturesque spot with that wonderful curving staircase. The interesting dress with bodice draws the eye every time you walk past which I think is the reason it's there; I doubt it's for sale. They're having an official opening party tomorrow evening. I left in the coloured glass at the top left as I would have lost the bottom of the stairs. That coloured glass is part of a new discreet deluxe hotel development in the village. The coloured panes of glass are actually solar panels on the top of the glass atrium. I think it's going to be a café/restaurant open to the public. I finished the photo in Lightroom with a Cinematic preset. :-)
Das nenn ich Eyecatcher, oder? Durch den blühenden Raps entsteht auch diese komplementäre Farbstimmung.
This is the view from the American side. Niagra falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between Canada and the United States. the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls.
I don't know why I like to capture people in life today. I was walking down the street (as usual?). I saw him behind the window. In Buenos Aires, restaurants are a very important social place where people go well dressed, with friends and family. It is a real social place in the sense that we give a lot of importance and we prepare for it.
This gentleman had a very intense and passionate conversation when I approached he had not finished his sentence ... Half a second of eternity ...
I hope he can find his favorite restaurant soon ...
The highlands are also home to the beautiful tea terraces of Munnar. These terraces were planted in a different manner than those of Sri Lanka. The tea in Sri Lanka is grown in straight rows rather than these eyecatching patterns.
Jeremiah 21:13 “Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?”
A single orange leaf provides a dramatic spot of color on an otherwise gray and frosty December day.

Nachdem fast alle Getreidefelder in unserer Gegend blumenfrei sind, sind die vereinzelnden Mohnblumen Eyecatcher.

Previously unpublished shot from June 2018. I remember that this was held back at the time simply because I couldn't think of a title that I liked. Those earrings though - well they sparkled and caught my eye for the shot and I was thrilled to capture a shadow of one too. The earrings are so bold they must be a statement piece or have some story attached. Enjoy!
Niagara Falls with a new illumination.
Recently the falls got new energy-efficient LED lighting. "They provide brighter and more robust colour than the halogen technology that’s been used in decades past. "
The brilliant red plumage of the male Northern cardinal is eyecatching in every seaason. Backyard bird
By their very nature, ducks love the water and need it for the food found in it. Depending on the duck species, rough water is no problem for many of them. When they aren't flying over it as depicted here, they are quite at home bobbing up and down or diving below the surface of the pounding waves.
This image is a composite, with the water here replacing a washed out background in the original capture.
Last steps before lockdown... Return of the confinement here, one year after the first.
One year after, the same questions, the same doubts, the same fears, the tiredness in more. To confine earlier, later, for what purpose?
I hear the sound of a wave, the nth wave, coming. A wave linked to postponed surgeries, to psychological distress, to the fear of entering a new tunnel. An invisible wave, but there, with impalpable consequences.
A last step outside, a last step free to feel the sand...

The “I’m going Out Out” saying has been made famous by stand up comedian Micky Flanagan. You can see him talk about ‘Out Out’ on You Tube but it is a bit blue.....you’ve been warned!
I hope you have the opportunity to go Out Out this weekend 😀😀😀.
All the best.
Thanks for visiting......
