Well, dear friends of Flickr, I finish here my extensive exhibition of photos from Italy, hoping not to have bored you with this long subject.
Unfortunately I have not had more time to devote myself to photography, and since the trip eight months ago, there was not opportunity to take a photo.
On the Easter holiday, on a brief trip to the Itatiaia National Park, I made a series of pictures of the local "goers" (hummingbirds) but I must confess to you that the time away from the camera has charged its price. I made mistakes with the camera controls, have chosen a bad ISO for the ocasion(since the place has too much shade all day long) and discovering that only practice leads to somewhere ...
After the next weekend, when we celebrate Mother's Day in which I will be absent of Flickr, I will post some photos for your appreciation.
For now I leave you with two other collages made on a day when I carried only the cell phone in Rome.
The first photo of the first collage is from a Galleria that can be one of my favorite places in Rome if I have the opportunity to go there with enough time to explore.
It's the wonderful Galleria Sciarra, which we found accidentaly but with no time to stay, appreciate and photograph.
I'll be glad and thankful if my Italian friends could tell me something about this magnificent place ;)

Ouch... very noisy! It was terribly hot and a long exposure. Excellent conditions for ugly CMOS noise, but ahh well.

Excellent local chippy on Gorgie Road, looking all the more welcoming with the bright lights on a dark, winter night!
A blacksmith demonstration at Empire Mines blacksmith shop at Empire Mines State Park in Grass Valley California where I was with my sweet west coast damsel. I was taking portraits at the picturesque state park of her youngest, a galant young man and her second born a loving and devout husband & father with his wife and two young daughters. After the photo session we walked the historic grounds of the mine and wandered into the blacksmith shop where we watched this artisan practice his craft.

Nous sommes allées avec une amie dans la réserve naturelle des Grangettes, une journée dans la nature cela fait tant de bien, ce lieu est magnifique et vaut bien une visite, j'y suis allée déjà deux fois ce printemps.

We went with a friend in the nature reserve of Grangettes, a day in the nature that is so good, this place is beautiful and well worth a visit, I have been twice this spring.
