The chapel, which sits on Lantern Hill by the harbor, dates back to 1361. A light or beacon has been in place here for over 650 years and is reputed to be the oldest working lighthouse in the U.K.
Ilfracombe is a popular seaside tourist destination on the north coast of Devon with ferry service to the Isle of Lundy. The town dates back to the iron age and has a small sheltered harbor surrounded by high cliffs.

General Motors donated $130,000 to the colleges of Engineering and Business during the Project Showcase. The money will be used for diversity programs among other things. Accepting GM's check on the College of Engineering's behalf was Renata Engel.
