A prototype of a module for the temporary pavilion ( Crystal Palace - Kristallpalast ) that will be build in the Karlsaue in front of the Orangerie. With 12.000sqm [update 8.1.2007: 10.000 sq.m) This will be the biggest exhibition building for documenta 12.
Every module has a lenght of 20m and a wide of 9,6m. The height is 5,93m. The whole building consists of 63 moduls.

I really want to know exactly how Lim Eng Soe is related to my grandfather. He wrote a message at the back of the photo. But that doesnt explain a lot, except maybe i can track down from his address?
#1 in a series of shots of McMinn County(TN) VFD Engine 4 taken for inclusion in Fire Apparatus Journal's new apparatus column. It is a 1992 Int'l 4900/Luverne pumper equipped with a 1250 gpm pump and 1000 gallon tank. It is diesel-powered with an automatic transmission and carries a serial number of 10446. This truck is now owned by the Etowah Rural Fire Department and has been renumbered Engine 41. Photo taken shortly after delivery in 1992.

IDENTIFICACIÓN
13-15 cm. Macho adulto negro en verano, gris negruzco en invierno, con mancha blanca en las alas. Hembra, juvenil y algunos machos de segundo año de color pardo grisáceo. En todos los plumajes, obispillo y cola rojizos.
ESPECIES SIMILARES
El color oscuro del macho lo hace inconfundi- ble entre las especies con cola roja. La hembra, juvenil y macho inmaduro pueden re- cordar a un ruiseñor común, que es de tama- ño mayor, partes inferiores blancas y sin pluma oscura central en la cola; la hembra y juve-nil de colirrojo real tienen el dorso pardo y partes inferiores ante.
SEXO
El macho adulto es negro con una mancha blanca en el ala. Las hembra adulta es de color pardo-gris, sin blanco en el ala. Los juveniles son similares a la hembra y no se pueden sexar. Después de su muda postjuvenil, algunos machos mantienen el plumaje similar al de la hembra por lo que esta especie no puede sexarse con seguridad hasta después de su primera muda postnupcial.
EDAD
Pueden reconocerse 3 tipos de edad:
Juveniles con aspecto similar al de las hem-bras, pero con plumaje nuevo.
1º año otoño/2º año primavera con contraste entre las plumas del ala mudadas, de color grisáceo, y las retenidas, más marrones; extremo del raquis de la pluma de la cola más externa negro en más de 9 mm, a veces con una mancha oscura en la barba externa de la pluma.

HÁBITAT:
El Colirrojo Tizón se encuentra casi siempre sobre edificios y muros de pueblos y ciudades. También vive en las laderas rocosas, canteras y graveras. En campo abierto, su presencia se halla asociada a la existencia, en mayor o menor medida, de rocas y piedras (paredes de prados, ruinas).
COSTUMBRES:
Tiene el hábito de flexionar las patas cuando está posado, al tiempo que mueve la cola de arriba a abajo. El Colirrojo Tizón camina a grandes saltos, y se alimenta de arañas, insectos y gusanos. Su canto resulta inconfundible para aquél quien haya tenido la ocasión de oírlo anteriormente, tonos aflautados y gorjeos que terminan con 2 ó 3 silbidos.
NIDIFICACIÓN:
Este pájaro nidifica en oquedades, donde construye un mullido nido a base de briznas de hierba, paja, telas de araña, lana, etc. Realiza dos puestas anuales, cada una compuesta por 4-6 huevos que son incubados entre 13 y 14 días. El primer plumaje de los jóvenes es similar al de la hembra adulta, distinguiéndose de ellas por el menor tamaño y los prominentes tubérculos bucales amarillos.

(NL) Oefeningen voor de mei-feestdagen in Moskou. Sinds vorig jaar maken T-90 tanks en Topol-M ballistische raketten deel uit van de jaarlijkse parade op 9 mei, de dag waarop Rusland de overwinning op nazi-Duitsland viert.

Habitat:Dyrket og av og til forvillet rundt gamle fincaer, langs åkerland, beitemark og i kulturlandskapet.
Mange har kanskje sett en flat avlang oransjebrun gelé-aktig masse på supermarkedene i Andalusia. Det er membrillo, en populær søt og syrlig marmelade-dessert. Serveres ofte med fersk geitost eller andre myke hvite oster.
Kvede minner om et eple eller plommetre, men blomstene er større enn hos disse. Først kommer de vakre kremmerhusformete knoppene i rødt og hvitt. Blomstene har avrundete rosa til hvite kronblader. Bladene er ovale og spissere mot enden. De er dunhårete. Frukten er først grønn og blir senere stor og pæreformet.
Kvede dyrkes mye i Andalusia.
Noen husker muligens ordet kvede fra Bibel-historie der frukten er nevnt flere ganger. En gammel og viktig kulturplante. Frukten er lys gul og ligner en tykk pære. Men setter man tennene i en fersk frukt blir man skuffet, den smaker bittert og tørt og må behandles, enten kokes eller syltes eller lages til en fast marmelade, da smaker den vidunderlig. Ordet marmelade kommer trolig fra ordet marmeleiro som er det portugisike navnet på desserten.

Named after a ‘Siameese twin’ from the 19th century, this first ever Dutch built catamaran (for yachting purpose) sails on the river Merwede near Dordrecht in Holland. The boat was built in 1859 and was designed by the builder, Johan Smit from Slikkerveer. It sailed for a very long time from Dordrecht.
