This is my third and last display base (after those I've built for Tahu and Lewa), created for the Month of Earth.
Thanks to the amazing gabriele.zannotti : without his tutorials, I would've never been able to make the crystals glow, or the focal blur effect on the renders.
Moved my Collectors to here. The Novi's were originally on this closet but I don't have them on display at all anymore.

I recently started to make my traditional 2019 year photo compilation and I noticed that I never put this picture, the Portuguese Navy Display.
In this photo, you can see all the Portuguese Ships that I built this year (and in other years as well). Behind is the Soviet Navy Display (also made this year).
So far, 2019 has been an excellent year for LEGO. Let´s see what I can do in 2020!

I was aiming for a shot of a displaying male Goldeneye. When I got the opportunity I was the wrong side of a Hawthorn hedge, but fortunately managed to frame up in a gap.
Hope you like this image and all comments and criticisms are welcome.

A few minutes after an 0400 crew brought U703 through town, a vintage US&S searchlight signal displays it's default red over red at control point GV in downtown Greenville. The fog has lifted, the moon is setting, and the sun is about to rise yet again on the small Pennsylvania town.
A garden mutant!! I see images of this condition taken by other photographers but this was my first time seeing it in person. This growth is apparently called 'fasciation' and made for an interesting thing to research (if you find yourself with a lot of free time)
Ack, here's a better description now that this was on Explore:
My name is Daniel Brown, I'm an origami artist. This is my display from the origami convention "OrigaMIT" in 2014. The table featured displays from 4 artists, so not -everything- you see is mine. The scaly dragon (Ryujin 3.1) was designed by Satoshi Kamiya and folded by me. From left to right, these are original works:
Cupcake, Drakee, Box of Chocolates, Spine Dragon, Zombie Hand, Shark Jaws, and then in the back is a Jack O Lantern. Each were folded from a single uncut square of paper, although some have support from glue, tape, or wires.
“A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Seasonal display of pumpkins for Halloween added to the usual pretty plants and flowers on the roof of the old barge which is home to the floatin cafe The Watershed on the Union Canal (a favourite spot of mine to stop for a wee cuppa during a walk)
This particular peacock lives on Lilla Holmen, Mariehamn. Lilla Holmen is a recreation area in the only town of the Aland Islands. Although it's common to presume that the long train of display feathers are tail feathers they are in fact not. The train is actually elongated upper tail coverts. The actual tail is brown and sort of 'meh'.
A male Red-breasted merganser displaying next to a female. 2 of the 7 Red-breasted mergansers in the next photo.

I had called TRU today in hopes of capturing perhaps a Sweet 1600, Skull shores or Toralei doll, but was met with disappointment. I asked about the Stardolls next and the employee I talked to mentioned my little Solange being in stock. I got dressed & with a ride from my mother made a mad dash to TRU & I ran to the Barbie aisle, (falling on my ass in the process. Heh) only to be met with disappointment. I sulked for a minute before remembering the big barbie display up front, only to not find them there either! WTF! It was as I sulked away that I saw the litte bin filled with all 6 varieties. Score!
A wall display unit I made from Teak wood. All the wood pieces are groove-jointed. It has a glass panel that slides into grooves routered into the outside frame.
All the models here designed and folded by me (except for the deck of cards though). Photo is not the best, but I hope you can make out what is what.
The Couteau Delta tactical display, one of the French Air Force's numerous demonstration teams, flies two examples of the Dassault Mirage 2000D strike aircraft. First flown in 1978, the Mirage 2000 has been in service with the Armée de l'Air since the early 1980s, in fighter and conventional strike versions as well as the nuclear-capable 2000N, which forms part of the backbone of France's Forces Aériennes Stratégiques (Strategic Air Forces), and the 2000D, which performs conventional attack missions. This version serves solely with France; other customers for the Mirage 2000 are Egypt, Greece, India, Peru, Qatar, the Republic of China and the UAE. It remains a highly manoeuvrable and effective combat aircraft, and has seen extensive operational use with the French Air Force in its different variants, not least over Iraq, the Balkans, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. Formed prior to the 2017 season, the Couteau Delta team comes from Escadrons de Chasse 2/3 'Champagne' and 3/3 'Ardennes' at Nancy-Ochey and returns again to RIAT 2018.
waited too long to look for a seasonal window display so how about one in front of a window? (btb, they decorate inside of stores with hearts galore for valentines day but not so much outside!!)

I cleared off a couple more shelves, so I decided to put some Misakis on one of them. These are my Bonjour & Beach Couture girls.
