This is my "staging shelf"....where I can take quick pix, pose, and "bond". At night, I use this as a nightlight...it looks like a 'stage'...

I love this display of threads that I found in the Josiah Henson Museum. I suppose it sat in a store in days gone by.

Have a good day everyone and thanks for your visits,,,

Scanned from 35mm negative.

Red-winged Blackbirds are fiercely territorial, and put on their classical displays with wings flashing red and gold feathers when competitor males approach. They also look and sound quite aggressive too. Photo was taken at Mud Lake, Ottawa, Ontario.

Old moc created to display my Chromed Kanohi.

Another shot of the mantis threat display intended to cause fear and intimidation...

As well as the wings featured in the last image, notice here the forelegs displayed uprightly and widely apart. The false eyespots on its inner forearms are meant to look like large and scary eyes, adding to the intimidation factor. What AREN'T false are all the barbs and thorns on its forearms, adding both fear and the ability to keep prey in its grasp once its been captured.

This is part of a display commemorating the 175th anniversary of the church in Dalby. There are all sorts of things on display mostly from Victorian and early 20th century times.

The little doll/sanrio display I do in my room... Also, I am endlessly amused by the fact the Disney ears fit the alpacasso. I will need to get more photos of that.

I changed it up a bit. Since I restyled the Zillas I thought it was about time that they would get a proper display. I finally could use the cardboard pieces that I kept saving. I need to find their brushes but I have no idea where I put them.

Display inside Honeyz in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England.

A friend told me about this display, this is only the left half. It is overkill at it's best.

A Green Display Out of the Living room window. Must have been a great display for those without all the light pollution of the town.

Don't mind me unfinished Arkham and Dr. Harleen haha

A few more shots of the IT Display & OOAK Agnes (by request).

Hope this helps!

Bloom Agnes 2013

A garden mutant!! I see images of this condition taken by other photographers but this was my first time seeing it in person. This growth is apparently called 'fasciation' and made for an interesting thing to research (if you find yourself with a lot of free time)

I have been working on my model the last two Sundays. I looked over all my small details and people. I decided tonight that my second window display would be a sports theme. :D I'm happy with it.

Always dramatic, the male Northern Shoveler shimmers its green inner wing in display.

Orchids floral display at the Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay.

This photo was taken at pretty close range. I went outside to play with my new camera and see what I could find. There is always something interesting in the habitat my husband and I have been creating over the past few years. The yard was much quieter than usual. However, I heard a noise and went to investigate. This Anole is what I found.

The male Anna's Hummingbird looks more like a flying piece of jewelry than a bird - especially at this nesting time of year.

In their thrilling courtship displays, males climb straight up to 130 feet into the air and then swoop to the ground with a curious burst of noise that they produce through their tail feathers. (Cornel Lab of Ornithology). All this while catching the sun to reflect stunning flashes of colour. They flash people with a camera too!

Buckingham fire works display

This is a display I've worked on over the years. The Terraphant on right especially, it has figures I've parted together with parts I've come across here and there.

This little Dunnock frantically kept flapping his wings & posturing. Think he was displaying in front of the ladies!
