I spotted this sneaky Lynx, as he plunged through the underbrush in pursuit of a tasty snowshoe hare. I liked the early morning sun highlighting his behind.
I managed to capture this shot through my open kitchen window, from which I have had the fun of watching almost every species of animal here in Alaska.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Have you ever had a favorite place that you really loved to sit, in your favorite restaurant? Doc and I covet a particular corner table at Eureka Lodge. It has an old time charm - plus the view from the corner windows is breathtaking.
We are in a rainy period - so time for a little art work. 😊
An old hand pump witnesses yet another sunset on the prairie in western Illinois. At one time, there were probably a house and barn near it, but today it stands as a lone centinal.
This scene was photographed in 2013 about two miles south of Colchester, Illinois, where we were living on a horse ranch. It is a composite as the geese were added.

The theme this year is our indigenous people.
The Sails are illuminated with the work of six Indigenous artists, celebrating the celestial Songlines of Australian Aboriginal astronomy.
More information here : www.sydney.com/destinations/sydney/sydney-city/vivid-sydney
and more about Aboriginal culture here: www.aboriginalculture.com.au/introduction.shtml
As far as I know, this painting represents some of the ancient ancestors of Australia's Indigenous people.
If anyone knows there exact name, please let me know! I would like to state that here
Thank You Sydney!!!!
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.
PS. Today is the last day of Vivid.

Posted for Sliders Sunday-- Post Processed to the MAX!
Life is much too serious these days, so I thought I'd share a whimsical Teddy Bear Poem . . . HMM!
"Bear In There"
by Shel Silverstein
There's a Polar Bear
In our Frigidaire--
He likes it 'cause it's cold in there.
With his seat in the meat
And his face in the fish
And his big hairy paws
In the buttery dish,
He's nibbling the noodles,
He's munching the rice,
He's slurping the soda,
He's licking the ice.
And he lets out a roar
If you open the door.
And it gives me a scare
To know he's in there--
That Polary Bear
In our Frigidaire.
