I've been working on the color scheme of this image on-and-off for some time never satisfied with the result...

An old hand pump witnesses yet another sunset on the prairie in western Illinois. At one time, there were probably a house and barn near it, but today it stands as a lone centinal.

This scene was photographed in 2013 about two miles south of Colchester, Illinois, where we were living on a horse ranch. It is a composite as the geese were added.

This is not intended as any kind of political statement but more of an observation. We've rarely seen the like of Donald Trump, and love him or hate him, he certainly creates conversation.

He is constantly surrounded by controversy and chaos seems to have invaded the White House, if the news outlets are to be believed. Everyday seems to bring another tempest, whether it's genuine or hyped by the network news.

I didn't start this picture with the intention of making it Trump but it kind of evolved and, as I was working on it, his sartorial trademark red tie and his distinctive hair seemed to emerge.

We live in a most interesting time.

Alaska has cabins awaiting your arrival - now if only Canada would lift their Covid restrictions. It has been another devastating year for the tourism industry in Alaska and the Yukon.

The original was an abstract painting at the Cincinnati Art Museum.

Ever wondered what it would look like inside Antelope Canyon when it is flooded?

Well, I did. Here is my vision of a water filled Canyon.

I like to apologise to those people that I gave swimming lessons with this exercise, hope you be able to forgive me.

Enjoy and have a fantastic weekend.

Thanks for looking Norbert.
