For Sliders Sunday - Processed to the MAX!
HSS!
(This little snowman and his Christmas tree are a part of the decorations that line my windowsill over my kitchen sink. During these long dark winter days - cheery light is a must in the far north.)
The sun has finally risen high enough over our southern windowsill, that a few of the bears (and one dog) that lounge on one side of our bed - are all excited to bask in its rays. HSS!
Sitting in the warmth of our local lodge, and looking out on Tolsona Lake - I noticed that the metal sculpture of a proud peacock was half buried in the snow. It kind of reminded me of the old saying; "He's like an ostrich with his head in the sand". Only in this case - his head is in the snow.
Four more inches of the white stuff has been forecasted for our area. I sure hope the weather trackers are wrong.

I had such great plans for a productive Saturday but here I am again, just sitting around and playing with my balls. I apologize beforehand if all of this digital doodling just looks messy and pointless. Obviously I like the results or else I wouldn't keep doing it! :D
These old cabins have disappeared from their original location. But I do think I have caught a glimpse of them through the trees not too far away. I wonder what is in the plans for them in the future . . .

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend.

Following last weeks attack on worshiping Muslims, I like to dedicate this peaceful photo to our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world!!
As the Dalai Lama mentioned last year in September " There is no such thing as a Muslim terrorist"!
See the link here : www.independent.co.uk/news/people/dalai-lama-muslim-terro...
I truly believe we could all show a bit more tolerance towards minorities.
In the end we are all the same!!!
We stayed in The Rocks over night to have easy access to Vivid Sydney and take a blue hour long exposure.
It was a very cold 5 degree Celsius morning ( for us anyhow ) I had a 5 minutes exposure in mind, but a cruise ship arriving ( and me staying in bed a bit too long ) right at the time I was ready to go changed that plan.
Best I could manage was this 48 sec. just before sunrise.

Thanks for looking and have a great Sunday.
