Every summer I see a large bus full of Mennonite travelers from the lower 48 states. The buses usually stop at "The Hub" gas station in Glennallen, to let the traveler's avail their selves of the porta potties, as well as the snack foods that can be purchased inside of the station. They must enjoy their Alaskan tour, as more arrive each year.

I've been working on the color scheme of this image on-and-off for some time never satisfied with the result...

Ever wondered what it would look like inside Antelope Canyon when it is flooded?

Well, I did. Here is my vision of a water filled Canyon.

I like to apologise to those people that I gave swimming lessons with this exercise, hope you be able to forgive me.

Enjoy and have a fantastic weekend.

Thanks for looking Norbert.

This is not intended as any kind of political statement but more of an observation. We've rarely seen the like of Donald Trump, and love him or hate him, he certainly creates conversation.

He is constantly surrounded by controversy and chaos seems to have invaded the White House, if the news outlets are to be believed. Everyday seems to bring another tempest, whether it's genuine or hyped by the network news.

I didn't start this picture with the intention of making it Trump but it kind of evolved and, as I was working on it, his sartorial trademark red tie and his distinctive hair seemed to emerge.

We live in a most interesting time.

What do you do when told to rest up, take the pills, and let your body fight off the infection?

Once your mind has cleared a little, well, there is just an ocean of boredom as you think of all these great ideas of what to shoot next, and yearn to get moving. You know the energy would melt away quicker than snow in the sunshine, and your concentration too! That's when I turn to a jigsaw ;o)

A simple pleasure, and one that is part way to 'mindless' but without the added noise of the TV!

Created from my own photograph of prisms and crystal - using Photoshop.

Many thanks for the good wishes - I'm recovering nicely - and will be catching up again, though maybe a little slowly ;o)

Happy Sliders Sunday to everyone ;o)

Alaska has cabins awaiting your arrival - now if only Canada would lift their Covid restrictions. It has been another devastating year for the tourism industry in Alaska and the Yukon.
