This image was achieved by first converting it to monochrome; then pushing the contrast; then adjusting the monochrome level to lighten the negative space. The silhouette effect can be attributed to the lighting conditions and color of the horses.

This image started as just another clear day shot of an arriving ship when... inspiration struck and the mood changed somewhat.

The Stalin statue in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood says, "You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs!" Sadly, this may well be my last yearly egg contribution because my beloved dumpr.net keeps automatically forwarding me to some other site that does not have an egg filter! I'll keep searching, though. Maybe a forgotten egg or two will stink their way out of their hiding places. :D

Denise as the goddess on the lake ! I attempted this idea last year. My self-portrait with the photoshop stars.
We got down to the lake just in time for the sunset and snapped some pics in the soft evening glow. Then we bundled up and waited for the stars and city lights to come out while leaving the tripod in the exact same spot, taking more photos into the evening. This picture is actually 4 images composed together to achieve the day and night effect

Hello everyone,
I have not been on flickr for a little while.
At the moment I try to spend my free time to get better with the use of Photoshop.
This panorama is made of 3 shots, I took in Sydney a couple of years ago.
I thought it could do with a bit of magic ( Still a lot to learn how to do this properly!).
Only the top half of the image is original, the fireworks and reflection and reflections are created in CS6.
Hope you enjoy and as always thanks for looking.
