Here is the last shot I captured, of the Indian-Pacific while watching it on TV. Here it is arriving at the platform. It takes 3 day, from Perth, in Western Australia to Central Station in Sydney NSW the distance is 4,352kms with a few stops along the way.

Sun out, train in, sun in, train out, #2, for the second Sunday in a row. Naturally enough, the sun came out 30 seconds after the locos passed – the rear autoballasters were in glorious sunshine. 97304 “John Tiley” and 97303 amble down the Dovey valley on the 6C70 08:41 Crewe Basford Hall to Talerddig, with ballast for the worksite near Machynlleth.
97302 (with 97303 at the other end) sits at Barmouth having arrived with the 20:09 Machynlleth Carriage Sidings structure gauging train which ran as far north as Harlech before returning south, and onwards to Derby.
97303 and 97304 “John Tiley” approach Llanaber halt on the 6C70 07:58 Crewe Basford Hall to Harlech ballast train for track renewal work near Tŷ Gwyn.

An English Electric Type 3 12CSVT Engine sits at Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns Works, Darlington on 21st July 1963, waiting to be fitted into a Class 37 loco. Loco roof fittings can be seen around the engine.

This Photograph shows a Delaware & Hudson Caboose, an Unknown Caboose, Morristown & Erie (aka: M & E) Railroad Diesel Locomotive C-430 built by ALCO (American Locomotive Company) in December 1967. It is Ex CONRAIL #2053, exx Penn Central #2053, exxx New York Central #2053 and two unknown Passenger Coaches.

Salt Lake Garfield & Western (the Saltair Route) was purchased by Patriot Rail from its local owners in late 2021, and recently received new locomotives painted in Patriot Rail's corporate colors. The three gray engines with SLGW heraldry have been shoved to the car storage hard at the end of the line. This may be the end of this local railroad's home-grown feel.
