Wanted to get more stars in the shot, but the nearly-full moon had other plans. Ended up taking a wrong turn to the arch, so we lost a lot of 'star time' but someone showed us the way when the found us along the trail.
I had never been to the Arch so doing this hike at night for the first time, probably wasn't the best decision I've made in my adult life. Thanks to the cairns placed along the trail, we were able to make it!
By 1am I was tired, and this was the last shot I took before heading back down.

The delicate prinia is a small warbler. This prinia is a resident breeder in southern Asia, from Turkey to North India. There are 5 subspecies, of which P. g. akyildizi, of southern Turkey is the darkest, brownest, and most heavily streaked above, and has the brightest buff flanks.
Scientific name: Prinia gracilis lepida
This is a VINTAGE Japanese Houmongi. Houmongi are semi-formal kimono that can be worn by both married and unmarried women. They are characterized by artfully arranged patterns that flow seamlessly across the garment's seams. This kimono displays a delicate pattern of peonies and chrysnathemums on a deep blue background This kimono likely originates in the mid to late Showa Period (1926 - 1989).
I have inspected this kimono in detail, there is a little bit of damage; some slight marks on the exterior and some patina on the white blossoms. There are also a few spots where the dye has bled a little bit, but this likely occurred during the dying process. Overall, I would rate this kimono in good vintage condition. This garment is 100% silk.
MEASUREMENTS:
Length: 159cm
Arm Span: 126cm
Width Across Back: 60cm
Total Width of Skirt: 130cm
Sleeve Drop: 49cm
SIZING
If you are unsure of how to interpret the kimono's size it is important to know that the length (collar - hem) should be approximately 10cm longer to 10cm shorter than the wearer's overall height (longer is better). This is because the excess length will be folded up at the waist. Meanwhile, the skirt should wrap around the hips a full 1.5 times. The armspan should also reach wrist to wrist on the wearer. In this case, the kimono will ideally fit a woman about 149cm (4'11") - 169cm (5'7") tall, with hips about 87cm (34") around. There is some give and take in these measurements though.

Delicate Arch in Arches National Park in Utah
We went on an early morning hike up to delicate Arch, it was nice seeing it with not too many people. It was a beautiful hike a great place to relax for awhile.
This was our last day before we headed back, later this day we played with snow in Colorado... in June.
Delicate Arch at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah is believed to be the single most photographed natural rock formation in the United States. Originally a sandstone fin, the whole was gradually weathered away leaving the current 52 foot arch that is seen on most Utah license plates.
In delicate light-pink traditional Vietnamese dress, a graceful maiden holds a bunch of white calla lilies, posing on a curved structure on a green lake at a street intersection. The soft afternoon sunlight and pale blue smoke evoke an ancient ambiance.

A delicate spring flower (as ever, I've no idea what sort of flower it is). Text and texture applied in photoshop, the basic photo is pretty much as it came out of the camera.

This arch, probably the iconic attraction of the Arches National Park, is also seen on the license plates from Utah! Through the arch is a few hundred feet drop, and the winds were so crazy I almost flew without a glider!
Bigger is always better
For my video; youtu.be/J8CyiSA4Dfg,
Arches National Park is a national park in eastern Utah, United States. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. More than 2,000 natural sandstone arches are located in the park, including the well-known Delicate Arch, as well as a variety of unique geological resources and formations. The park contains the highest density of natural arches in the world.
The park consists of 76,679 acres (119.811 sq mi; 31,031 ha; 310.31 km2) of high desert located on the Colorado Plateau. Administered by the National Park Service, the area was originally named a national monument on April 12, 1929, and was redesignated as a national park on November 12, 1971. The park received more than 1.6 million visitors in 2018.
Of course one of many Delicate Arches shots. But this one was mine and it came with the experience and quitte a hike ;-)
I found this angle to be very nice due to the little peak that you can see in the centre of the arch.
Most wonderful spot and a wonder of nature if you would ask me...
The light and resulting colors in the late afternoon are almost surreal.
