To shoot from the bowl under Delicate Arch was another item long on the to-do list. I spent most of the afternoon down there and while it's not a very large area (smaller than a US football field say), there's a lot of choices - a;though the further right you go, the more you lose the opening in the arch. The wall out of the bowl below the arch is only 50-60' up, but the closer you get, the steeper it gets so you see almost none of the rim.
This was about mid-way across the bowl - where four large rocks had spilled to the bottom, making an excellent foreground set of objects.

A beautiful pink Persian Buttercup in a pitcher. I used all natural lighting to capture this sit up and then I added effects and a texture to give the image an aged look. Imagine this as a mothers day card or haning in your bathroom or your bedroom.
The platinum-plated body of the Albert Einstein® Limited Edition 3000, delicately engraved with the unique scientist’s most famous formulas, shines like a distant star. Platinum-plated lines cluster around the cap in a fine grid-like pattern, depicting the curvature of space-time.
The dark-blue background reflects the depth of the infinite universe. An artistic engraving of the element einsteinium (Es), named after the genius, decorates the hand-crafted rhodium-plated 750 Solid gold nib. The edition has been limited to 3000 pens, corresponding approximately to one-hundredth of the tremendous speed of light – 299,792.458 km/s – which was essential for Einstein’s vision of the universe. The gray ink completes the Albert Einstein Limited Edition, giving the writing instrument a striking elegance. Available in a 30 ml ink bottle.
Only a genius could have achieved what Einstein accomplished in 1905 – the “year of greatness”, or Annus Mirabilis, that made history. In this year, he published four different theories at short intervals, radically changing the understanding of physics. In particular, his “Special Theory of Relativity” put the world of science in a state of turmoil with the concept that the speed of light was constant and that, as a result, time and space had lost their absoluteness.

I had never been to a live butterfly exhibit and it was really an amazing experience! Over 1000 butterflies and 50 species, I felt as if I walked into a magical world.. Everywhere you looked, in the air, on the flowers, there were delicate wings softly flashing their beautiful colors and markings.

I saw another photographer doing photos like this, so I really wanted to try it out. I think it came out ok for my first attempt. Please feel free to let me know what you think
Filigree under the sea; the "branches" of this delicate colonial animal provide the structure on which the tiny white zooids live.
Grown overnight on a hardwood stump that's lost its bark. Topside and gills the are separated from the stipe.
This was taken from the fin to the south of the arch. Great views and not visited very often. You can see down into Winter Camp Wash, the cliff face below the arch and all the rocks that have come down over the centuries.
A snow-covered trail meanders among some pine trees as the late-afternoon sun showcases the grace of the evergreens’ seemingly delicate structure on Jan. 18, 2015 at Burnidge Forest Preserve, west of Elgin, Illinois.
Taken in my parents back yard. My brother and I had alot of fun setting it up and shooting them with bb guns.
Much like the intricate workings of this Elgin pocket watch, time is very delicate. Once it is gone, you cannot get it back.
The plum blossoms are wonderful this year. Today was sort of overcast which lent a delicate feeling to shooting into the trees.

Delicate Arch in Arches National Park as the sun is fading away. Getting back down the hill after taking these sunset photos was a task. luckily I had my headlamp on and the two other photographers up there had flashlights.
