Weedy Sea Dragon
The Weedy Sea Dragon is well known for its camouflage appearance, which is used for protection.
These fish are slow-moving and rely on their camouflage as protection against predation; they drift in the water and with the leaf-like appendages resemble the swaying seaweed of their habitat. They lack a prehensile tail that enables similar species to clasp and anchor themselves.

When I was taking pictures of this flower through my viewfinder she was telling me ..take care.. I am delicate .. I am fragile ..
I tried to capture this...I hope you can feel this also..
Not a great one but posting this just to prove that i have been there :-) After rain gods spoiled my attempt to photograph Natural Bridges National Monument, i headed towards Arches National Park in anticipation to shoot some great pictures of Delicate arch during sunset. Had grand plans to shoot Milky way against the Arch as well.
3 hour drive and 1 hour hike to the Arch did not change anything in terms of Weather. I was hanging in there expecting that miracle light to fall on Arch but to my disappointment the situation got worse. It started raining and it became troublesome even to navigate around the steep slope in front of the Arch. I think the name, Delicate Arch is not about the Arch but how delicately you have to handle your movements.
I was looking for a specific photo over the weekend and happen to run across some pictures I had forgot I'd taken.
My husband takes a business trip every year to San Francisco and I have the pleasure of joining him, so while he is at work I get to walk around the city and enjoy it's many beauties... These were taken in Summer 2005.
The postman brought goodies. My „Orbiter“ package arrived. Draped it over the bike which cushioned my delicate behind over 2 of 3 finished Orbits. 😂
Thanks again @cyclingrapha and @bengtstillerphotography for this great idea. And of course thanks to all the route scouts and friends and partners who made this possible. I deem it a great success! And as I hear, the next year is already in the works! Great stuff - that means I will be able to wear my new cap while riding some Orbits next year.

Der Postbote hat Geschenke gebracht. Mein "Orbiter" Paket kam an. :)
Now that I own a 1990s Belleek clock and this inter-war piece (made between 1926 and 1946), I can see the older piece is much much more delicate and refined than the modern pieces. The glazing on this older piece is indeed pearly and reflects a lustrous multi-colour iridescence as Belleek ware is (was?) famous for. The rosebuds, leaves and the main rose's petals look like it's made out of mother-of-pearl and almosy razor-thin.
On the other hand, the fact that I paid very little money for this also shows you how such things are ignored by society these days.
We might live like never before,
when there's nothing to give how can we ask for more?
We might make love when nobody's there
it's not that we're scared, it's just that it's delicate

(will be redone one day, this was a photo taken by my phone of my camera, and edited on my phone... I get impatient sometimes.)
Delicate Arch may be one of Utah's most photographed images, but it is still one of my favorites. There is nothing like a sunset hike, hanging around after the tourists have headed down and the real light show begins. Geocachers, check out Arches National Park - Delicate Arch.
I usually like to identify what I've shot, but this time I don't feel the need to categorise ... I just know that I like it.

Delicate Arch at twilight. Here the sun has set, and darkness is beginning to settle in. Most everyone had left by this time, but I stayed for a few minutes to talk with two guys who were sticking around to get some night shots with the arch & star-trails & whatnot. I had put my headlamp in my pack beforehand, just in case, but I didn't need it on the hike out... when I got back to the Mini, there was still just enough light in the sky to see by.
