You find so much when walking along the beach. Most of it is marine debris and not so nice but you also find some gems like this delicate bit of weed.

I find these smaller weed pods to be quite fascinating, delicate and artistic! They wave in the wind, soak up the rain and simply dry out in the warm sunshine.
They "flex & flow" with whatever Mother Nature throws their way, but survive an entire winter! Hmmm, must be a lesson here somewhere!

This photo was taken from a Sunset flight over Arches National Park, offered from Moab by Red Tail Aviation.
Special thanks to our pilot for the day, Shane Gonzales, for his enthusiasm in showing us around and making sure we got the best possible shots!

March 2009
This was a black day for me. After visiting Delicate Arch last June (2008), I wanted to return with Margie to show her the beauty of the location, and to capture some images I had in my mind's eye. Well the left knee was really bothering me, and this 1.5 mile trail is virtually uphill all the way. I also didn't anticipate the warm temperature (for March), and I did not pack my bandana or neck cooler. We brought plenty of water, but that was insufficient to be comfortable or safe. About 7/8 of the way up, I had to stop. I started getting nauseated and chilled, and I still had to walk back. I stopped and rested, cried, and after that catharsis, I started back down. I was pissed. So instead, Margie and I walked out to the Delicate Arch viewpoint, and I shot this pano instead.
10 image pano at 200 mm (Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8) ; stitched with PTGui and processed further with CNX2 and PSP
My knee will get better and Margie promised we'd try it again.

the Ice cuter had just passed through, as the current of the Hudson created this delicate ice flower caught in the sunset !

Delicate Bookstore Letterhead design template by Andy Sundblad.Showcased on Inkd.com.
This elegant letterhead is ideal for a neighborhood bookstore. The stacked books running up the side of the letterhead along with the refined display of contact information covey an image of a local, cozy bookshop.
Delicate winter hydrangea was processed using Paint the Moon "Vintage Fairytale", "Hushed Softness" , PTM Timeworn Texture and a wonderful texture from Thanasis Anastasiou.
Surprisingly, these are Primulas, but they are quite unusual in being double-flowers, and such a beautiful shade of lilac too!
Loved this delicate little feather, dangling on a flower arrangement in St Arilda's on Oldbury-on-Severn, dancing in the beautiful light and gentle breeze playing around the church.
I've been to Arches National Park twice. The third time I visit, I will not leave until I actually touch this arch! :-)
Arches National Park
Moab, Utah
Amazingly difficult to get a clean (aka, people-free shot) of this arch despite the very rigorous, yet amazing hike to get there. Had to crop a slight bit of the left side of the shot to make it people-free. Don't get me started on the chipmunks and ravens! This is the arch that is depicted on the Utah license plate.
