Landscape picture of Delicate Arch in the Arches National Park. Unfortunately there had been a sand storm and this resulted in a sandy sky. Normally you would expect a blue sky.
A person needs to be included to see the scale of the arch.
Picture is available for commercial release. Please contact me if you are interested.

As delicate as a single petal finally landing upon the earth after all these twists and turns, Hinako laid her pose.
Lilies always seem so delicate and fragile. The petals look like someone has taken a paint brush to them. J
Geometrical Forms
Before beginning the actual sighting process, do a delicate gesture drawing based in what you see. This "breaks the ice" of a blank paper and gives a sense of how the object being referred to will occupy the paper surface.
This rose may be a bit beat-up around the edges, but it's still rather lovely.

This picture probably wont make me famous. Just like every other photo I uploaded. I was so lazy after editing it that I couldn't even be bothered to tag it with my lousy watermark.
My life is all about school at the moment. My blissful days and nights have turned into minimal sleep, waking up with headaches and no time for fun. Such is the life of a senior.
Praying for Japan.
Credits to the littlest sister for the hand modelling.

Delicate Arch
Arches National Park, UT

Sony A1, Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN
Taken at Delicate Arch, Arches National Park outside Moab, Utah. I took this one hand-held at 14mm, f/7.1.
Another view of this arch with a much different type of lens. I was really close to the arch when I took this shot. The light was not as good when I took this, as I had to wait due to the crowds. This lens with my Voigtlander APOs were a great combo on my trip to Utah.

A panorama of Delicate Arch from near the Delicate Arch view point. This is the easiest way to see Delicate Arch, but if you have the time I would recommend hiking to the arch itself. It is truly breathtaking.
Dew drops on grasses in thick morning fog near the River Wey, Guildford UK. Bizarrely I got rather trapped in this very waterlogged area and couldn't find my way out without getting soaked feet. This with the Sony A7R and Leica Summarit 50mm f/2.5 at f/2.5m (beautiful little lens).
This is the first time I have tried actually shooting in black and white with my 7D, I did not realise that it had so many settings, including a few filters for monotone. This one was SOOC with no setting adjusted. I really liked the high key effect the black and white gave this small orange rose. I think I am going to have a lot of fun here. Not sure that I will get much time to get out and about before this assignment is due, so I think I may have the theme my shots around items I find at home and work :-0
Module 1 homework: "To take a b&w jpeg with no cropping, tweaking or enhancement... straight out of camera"
A pretty little girl waiting for Asian Canadian Festival to begin. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and couldn't watch the show.

The most celebrated arch in the entire park is the Delicate Arch. It can be reached after an arduous incline of approx. 2 miles by foot from the base camp parking area. Take into consideration the dry and hot desert environ to reach the arch as you climb. Upon reaching it, you will be rewarded by a most magnificent sight. Arches National Park, Moab, Utah, USA
Oh! Delicate Arch. We Proved to be more delicate than you. We finished our morning hike at Arches on the Devil’s Garden Trail – about 7 miles if you include our detour. Our plan was to do one more hike to the must-see Delicate Arch and then leave to head towards Bryce Canyon. We had already taken down camp so we assembly lined some PBJs on the dashboard, wolfed them down, and took off towards the Delicate Arch Trail Head. When we got there we saw it was Just three miles round. We decided rather than to wait out the HEAT and fully recover from the morning we would just do it and get it done.
Never in my life have I bitched and moaned so much. People seemed to be lapping us on this “moderate” trail as we stopped to rest every seven feet. The SUN was pounding down on us and it was a three miles climbing the entire time. After pushing ourselves and pushing each other we finally made it. Delicate Arch. As soon as we got there a seven year old girl proceeded to tell us about how much fun she had getting up there and how great the hike was. That was only the first of our 3 mile hike fails.

Cured Scottish sea trout with salmon eggs, “horseradish snow”, watercress and dill paste £9.00
Trio of thick sliced deep orange (hinting red) trout was presented, and although not as oily-rich, fishy nor salty as their salmon cousin, it bore a close relation to gravlox in texture and flavour. The roughly shaved “snow” (aka granite) was flakey light, but easily melted upon contact with the tongue into a watery, almost milky (a bit like goat cheese coating on the tongue) liquid. Briny bursts of salmon roe rounded out to the dish, almost contrasting the snow’s texture, and lingered at the back of the tongue with its full flavour. Meanwhile, the thin dill paste painted on the plate was in too miniscule in quantity to contribute much to the dish’s flavour whereas delicate sprigs of baby watercress and dill leaves added that delicate touch to the picture perfect image.

'Delicate & Beautiful' On Black
I love the colour that got captured by my camera here - it can be fussy sometimes but it really worked this time.
